This was a great location for our family to stay on our way to Terre Haute. It was clean, easy to find, and comfortable. We all appreciated the deer and other wildlife out the windows as we settled in for the evening and woke in the morning. It was peaceful and just what we needed.

The house is beautifully done. The snacks left on the counter were a very thoughtful touch. The bathroom towels were amazing.

My family and I really liked "Our Neck of the Woods" cottage. We were returning home from a vacation in Michigan to St Louis and thought I'd be fun to go into Casey, IL to see all the world's biggest attractions before closing the book on vacation 2026. This property is quiet and welcoming. We had dinner at Richard's Farm Restaurant and it was excellent. We also saw a deer 10 yards from the cottage out back and a muskrat in the pdnd below along with other bird wildlife. Thank you for sharing your country getaway!
