Nice location! Easy to have a group and get to Acadia within a few minutes. A few issues with the house, and make sure to bring your own drinking water as all water within the house has a bad smell, perhaps the filtration wasnt working, if there is a system. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

The place was great. Near Bar Harbor and Acadia. Sunsets on the beach were amazing! The house was clean and updated.

The good:The location was excellent, house very nice. Easy 2 minute walk to the beach and 15-20 minutes to town. The house is reasonably well equipped for cooking. There are board games for use.My complaints about the property are:The dishwasher does not work well and so there were a lot of dirty dishes in the cupboards that I had to wash by hand to use.The upstairs shower drains extremely slowly so you end up standing in 3 or 4 inches of dirty water.The toilet downstairs is stained or just never cleaned well. The drawers in the bedrooms are hard to open and close and the bases are coming out on some.The washing machine has stains in it where the soap goes in and looks like it need some maintenance.Overall the property is nice BUT it is in poor maintenance condition for the appliances and would've expected better.We arrived 5 minutes before checkin time and our code didn't work until exactly 4. Their automatic messages were helpful so checkin and out was easy.
