Surrounded by pristine nature on a 60-hectare estate with only 3 houses, the gîte offers an authentic Provençal experience. The cosy house was a ruin 40 years ago, but has been carefully restored while retaining authentic materials. A terrace with wrought-iron fencing offers stunning views, and the bright living room feels like a conservatory, seamlessly connected to nature. Rest and relaxation combined with the charm of Provence!

Walk along the wooded paths, surrounded by the colours and scents of Provence, discovering a hidden chapel on the estate along the way. A 5-minute drive takes you into the cosy centre of Barjols, with charming restaurants and terraces. Barjols, rich in history, is known for its 42 fountains and 4 rivers that have characterised its architecture for centuries. Explore the Gorges du Verdon with steep cliffs, azure waters and hidden beaches, just 40 km from Barjols. An oasis of serenity and natural beauty

A real experience of the Provence verte

The little house is really nice and well done-up, in a big property where the owner still grows vegetables for the local market (very, very good). No other house directly around or in sight, you have the place to yourself. The terrace is fantastic and in the evening and early morning wild animals come to the pond below it to cool and drink. Small minus points: the swimming pool is 300 m. away from the house, close to the other "gites" of the property, there is no aircon (we stayed during a heatwave and had to buy a big fan), the double bed in the parents room is rather small (also a problem in the heatwave).

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Barjols.....das Haus hat alles gehalten was versprochen wurde und noch viel mehr. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Monique ist eine tolle Vermieterin und dadurch war unser Aufenthalt sehr entspannt mit hohem Wohlfühlfaktor. Immer wieder gerne!!!

Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Das Haus liegt inmitten der Natur. Keine Belästigung durch Nachbarn. Genießen Sie den Klang der Grillen und Frösche. Nachts huschen manchmal Wildschweine durch den Wald. Viele Sachen im Haus. Keine Klimaanlage, so heiß beim Schlafen. Set-up-Pool ist 400 Meter vom Haus entfernt. Das ist ein Spaziergang bergab. Wenn es heiß ist, ist es besser, mit dem Auto zu fahren. Der Weg nach oben ist sehr heiß.
