This place was a gem! We stayed for 3 weeks, and this place was truly a home away from home. My son, daughter in law, and baby grandson live in the area and having such a spacious place, with full kitchen amenities was a game changer. We were super close to City Park and Bayou St John and Lafitte Greenway - if you don’t know, you should know - some of the best areas of New Orleans with easy access to the Quarter. The description on the site was very accurate with no surprises. I would definitely book again. Side note: if it’s hot, go walk and get a frozen cafe au lait (amazing!!!) from Cafe du Monde, if it’s cold, get the original. Also, you have to check out Second Line Brewery. Walkable with the best chill vibes.

The picture on the listing is very misleading. The actual photo of the entry door is several images away from the main page. The house with the columns is NOT the rented property. I think it should be removed. It seems dishonest to me. The fine print does inform that it is a basement property with a side entrance. It led to some confusion on arrival. For transparency I think the actual property phots should be first and then you can highlight the interests in the area.

As we said when this was pointed out to us, Vrbo had started a program (without our knowledge) where they were using AI to rearrange photos in their listings. The photo of the house with the columns is a museum and is usually grouped with other city photos at the end of the listing, but Vrbo is who moved it to the top spot. We have reached out to them about turning this feature off, and we are removing those photos just in case it causes any confusion in the future. We're sorry this seemed misleading, but it was nothing we did on purpose. We're glad the stay was a good one otherwise.
