A warm welcome to this charming historic thatched-roof cottage in the heart of Großenbrode!

This idyllic, newly renovated gem is located right in the center of town across from St. Katharinen Church and is perfect for a wonderful stay for a large family or even for travel groups of up to 9 people. This vacation home is truly one-of-a-kind and offers an ideal base for sightseeing, as a starting point for extensive bike tours, for a day at the beach, or simply to unwind and relax.

As soon as you step into the old farmhouse through the entryway, you’ll feel its historic charm, and from there you’ll find your way to the various rooms. For social gatherings, there’s a cozy living room, a separate reading and dining room, a modern, like-new bathroom, an additional guest restroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with an adjoining utility room. In the utility wing, you can wash and dry your vacation clothes during your stay.

The fully equipped built-in kitchen is comprehensively outfitted with a dishwasher, a 4-burner ceramic cooktop, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer compartment, and various kitchen appliances for complete self-catering. The large dining table offers plenty of space for everyone to dine together or plan the next day of your vacation.

In addition, there are three spacious bedrooms on the first floor, each with a cozy double bed. The original staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are two more cozy bedrooms. Everyone will find a comfortable place to retreat in this country house.

On the property, you can gather around the garden table in a cozy setting and let the evening wind down as the sun sets. A grill is available.

Our tip: Enjoy walks together on Südstrand (only from November to March) or year-round along Großenbrode’s kilometers-long stretches of coastline, in the countryside, or on the unspoiled Weststrand near the Fehmarn Sound Bridge. Your four-legged friend is warmly welcome in this apartment!
