Nice room

The house is beautiful (even better than the pictures)-- perfect set up for our family and another. It's situated literally right on the beach in a quiet area but a short 15-minute walk to the town. The kids paddle-boarded and spent hours in the ocean and pool. Claudia and Francia took such good care of us! They made us the most delicious, authentic Mexican food, arranged activities, and coordinated rides to other areas. One of our favorite vacations -- we are already planning a return trip!

My spouse and I stayed at Pufferfish Villas for a month Dec/Jan 24-25. We were delighted with every single aspect of our stay. Doug was always available on a moments notice when we needed something. Hope and Doug were very gracious hosts. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The villa was tastefully designed to meet all our needs. The linens they use were so comfortable and soft. The mattress was perfect. We will definitely stay there again

This was just what we needed to escape the rain and cold of the Northwest. We loved it so much we are coming back in January to spend a month. Steve and Adriana are super hosts and make you feel right at home.

This lovely casita was exactly what my husband and I sought: privacy, quiet, comfort, and convenience. There are two villas onsite, but visually separate when using your patio. The pool area is capacious for only two villas, plenty of room for everyone, both in sun and shade. We slept great because it was so wonderfully quiet in that residential part of Loreto. The villa was outfitted with everything, absolutely everything you could think of, in the kitchen, in the bath, in the bedroom. The littlest touches showed that designing and furnishing these casitas was a labor of love. The pool was glorious after a day of sunny adventure and the bed was so comfy. Everything was IMMACULATE. Doug is an onsite, but hands-off owner, but friendly and very available. We would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Casa Alegre. The home was as described, but that was only the beginning! Loreto Town- we felt nothing but safe and secure every moment. We were a combined family of grown females and toddler boys, never once did we feel strange anywhere in the town or surrounding areas. The Home- perfectly laid out for differing age groups. Areas to nap quietly, areas to party, areas to quietly read a book. Areas to take your buddies money at backgammon. Lucy and Carlos- Lucy was amazing, not just as a cooking resource but also as a guide for activities as well as airport transportation. Carlos was never more than 5 minutes away for the few times we needed guidance. The Jeep- worth the insurance expense. Invaluable for getting around Loreto town. The CD in the Jeep- the real MVP of the trip, our daughter grew to Love reggae, we appreciate that!

Host was very responsive to changing numbers of guests as we were in town with a wedding and other guests had plans fall through. Place we clean, with great shower/bathroom. Outdoor outdoor kitchen area and seating was perfect for many people, plus the wood stove kept us warm at night. Great place to stay!

Cabanas encircle the two pool areas dotted with palms and other tropical vegetation. Beds were comfortable, kitchen adequately supplied, nice showers. Located about two blocks from both the beach and the central square and grocery stores. Perfect for both access and quiet. Priced right, too.
