Property type house
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms (2 King; 1 Full) 2 Full Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Casa Cinco is an incredibly charming, authentic casa located in Loreto, Mexico - a historic fishing village on the beautiful Sea of Cortez. The casa has two master suites with exceptionally comfortable king-size beds. One is upstairs; one is downstairs and each is attached to full Mexican-tiled bathrooms. The full-size bedroom is upstairs and has an outside terrace.

Casa Cinco is part of Club El Palmar with 16 additional homes and a unique gated community surrounding a pool. Secure parking is available for your vehicle.

From Casa Cinco, you are only a 5-10 minute walk to any place you want to be in town including fine restaurants, taco stands, bars, grocery stores, fresh fruit stands, an ATM machine, internet cafes, a taxi stand, and shops with Mexican hand-crafted items.

The famous malecon (walkway by the Sea) is also only a 10-minute walk and is home to the local marina where you can fish from the pier, or hire a captain to escort you onto the Sea of Cortez for world-famous sport fishing, your favorite water sport or sight seeing.

Casa Cinco in Loreto is about 700 miles south of San Diego on Mexico Highway 1. It is very convenient to fly into Loreto due to its local airport (LTO).

Visit Casa Cinco soon and you will see what words fail to describe but experience always proves to be true... An amazing place in a charming village with unbelievable fishing and friendly people. It’s no wonder that the motto chosen to commemorate Loreto’s 300-year anniversary in 1997 was '300 years old and, still undiscovered.'

A Gem of a place

  • 5 of 5

Our first time visit to Loreto! This house is a gem of a place. Beautiful inside and out. Very comfortable with complete amenities . This is a nice quiet little gated community. Walking distance to the City Center. The people in the surrounding area are all friendly including all the local people in town. We are definitely coming back again. I wish next year is tomorrow...we found our secret treasure... Thank you Bill and Ranessa for our pleasant stay.

Until next year, best regards,

Blane and Carylann

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at casa cinco. House had everything that we needed and more. Wifi worked well enough for my husband do some work while away. We especially liked big beach towels and pool right outside of our door. Each day, twice a day my kids were in that pool and every time we were the only ones in it. The property is really quiet and private. We met the nicest neighbor across the way, who have us lots of tips about the area and let the kids use his floating toys. Having the store right next to the property was amazing. You have to try their flan which they make each morning at the deli. We had it every day. The ATM at the store is also much cheaper to use than the one downtown at the bank. We tried most restaurants in town and they were all good but our favorite was los Mandiles on malecon. It was full of flavor, fresh and lots of choices including green juices and smoothies. Ask for their salsas with your food. For some reason they don't offer salsas unless you ask. We walked everywhere for the first 4 days and rented a car second part of the trip. We really recommend Baja rentals on malecon.

Our stay at Casa Cinco was Perfecto! A beautiful little home with all the amenities plus super comfortable beds! Our son, loved the pool just outside the front door. The neighbors were very hospitable. Across from the supermarket we found a local lady selling shrimp and fish. We had the best homemade fish tacos. Our friends on a sailboat came to visit and it was the perfect place to hangout. The internet was too slow for Netflix, but You Tube seemed do the job for our son. It was our first time to Loreto and we would definitely stay here again!

Location and convenience in a perfect little Casa

  • 5 of 5

Myself, my parents and my son stayed in Casa Cinco for one week, and it was PERFECT for what we needed. The small complex of 18 houses which surround a beautiful pool is a two minute walk to the new Super Express grocery store, that has everything you need to cook your own meals. The Casa is a 10-minute walk to Super Burro (in our opinion, the best place to eat in Loreto for the best price), and about a 20-minute walk to everything else you need (Town Centre, bank, Mita's Gourmet, Dolphin Diving, and of course, the Malecon). People in Loreto are friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely time getting to know this laid back little Mexican town/city. When we come back to Loreto, Casa Cinco will be our home again!

Home away from home!

  • 4 of 5

We spent one month at Casa Cinco in January 2014. The casa was well maintained and beds very comfortable. It had all the amenities we required. The location was great for the supermarket and short walking distance to the malecon and historic plaza. The complex and pool were kept very clean. It was great to have the pool right outside the door although it was kept at a very chilly temperature.

Loreto is a very nice community with great restaurants and friendly and welcoming locals. We enjoyed our daily walks and "Holas". The main streets are swept daily so walking areas are kept very clean. We always felt safe in Loreto and would not hesitate to return.

Great place to call home!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four stayed for five nights at Casa Cinco. It was the perfect place for a home base while enjoying all that Loreto has to offer. Our kids loved the pool and we loved the shady seating area to read a book or chat with the neighbors. The supermarket next door could not have been more convenient! The beds were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were roomy and in great condition. We would definitely stay here again.
