We host from a distance and answer quickly. Message us any time for a trail recommendation, a dinner spot, or a hand with the fireplace or the thermostat, and we will get back to you quickly. Our aim is a home that simply works, so you can slow down.

Why they chose this property

Majestic Pines sits in the pines on the quiet side of Big Bear Lake, in the pocket just below Snow Summit. It is a quiet, residential street. The Snow Summit shuttle lot is a short walk from the door, the lifts are under a mile. Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are about five minutes by car, and the Village about ten. In summer, Big Bear Lake and its marina are about two miles away for boating, paddleboarding, and shoreline walks, and hiking is close in any season. The Towne Trail, an easy 2.9 mile path from the Snow Summit base to Forest Road 2N08 and Knickerbocker Road, takes about an hour and connects you toward the Village. The Village itself is the walkable heart of town, with restaurants, coffee, and shops.

What makes this property unique

Two king beds is the thing guests notice first. Both bedrooms have a king, so neither couple draws the short straw, and the third room has two twins for kids. The house also has air conditioning, which makes the summer months comfortable at an elevation where most cabins run warm. Beyond that, it is a wood-burning fireplace in a real great room, a full kitchen with dining for six, and a big fenced backyard under the pines where dogs and children can be let loose. Close enough to the slopes and the Village to make a weekend effortless, quiet enough to hear the wind in the pines.
