NOTE- Everything in Lake Lure and surrounding areas is open. The big lake, Lake Lure, has started the process of filling the lake and will officially reopen Spring of 2026.

Owner managed Liz/ Kyle Fister/ Mountain Haven Properties LLC- Lake Lure. We have over 180 great reviews on other booking site.
Located in the private mountain community of "Riverbend at Lake Lure". Our beautiful community is surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Riverbends Mirror Lake and Beach are short walk from the cabin or a quick drive with parking available at the beach along with a covered pavilion with seating and restrooms, The French Broad River runs through Riverbend and is great for summer tubing or playing in the small river rapids! The cabin also has a small creek in the back yard and open acres behind the cabin perfect for a little hike!
The cabin is located in a very private setting with no other homes in view, yet minutes to town, grocery store and lake/riverside dining. We have a large, private wrap around deck with hot tub, grill, log swing, log picnic table and rocking chairs. Canoes/kayaks and paddle board available upon request (no charge).
We have three large MASTER bedrooms and a 4th open game room /bedroom downstairs with a seating area, set of log bunk beds and a queen sofa sleeper with a door out to the lower deck and hot tub.
The lower level (3rd master) bedroom has French doors out to the lower deck with a hot tub. 10-minute walk to beach and lake. Canoe and firepit available upon request. Sleep 10 in beds with queen/twin air mattresses available upon request.
We are centrally located to many activities such as pontoon boats rentals, zip-lining, kayaking, canoeing, snow tubing, snow skiing, horseback riding, white water rafting, numerous golf courses, putt- putt, fishing, Tryon Equestrian Center with daily horse events and restaurants with weekly festivals, spectacular hiking trails, mountain bike trails, Lake/River side dining, Biltmore House and Asheville, numerous local wineries and breweries and much more! There are activities for every season!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! Our family really enjoyed staying here. The driveway was a little tricky/ steep. Also, we did find it easier to drive to the beach area and walking trails with the dog.

Property was a home run from reservation to departure. The description and imagery were accurate, the rate was fair, and communications with the owners were seamless and timely. Check-in was smooth and the directions provided got our family to the house without issue. Layout was PERFECT for our group: two families with kids, Grandma and a family dog. Each set of adults had a separate bedroom on their own floor, and the kids had the game/bunk room all to themselves. The wrap around porch was ideal for small kids and the dog, grilling, meals at the picnic table, or just sitting on the porch swing. The interior living spaces were great for family meals, movie nights, or playing games. The entire family loved the private beach and playing in the river - we were there every day. The house was close to the zip line course, grocery store, and just a bit further to Lake Lure Beach, Chimney Top, and great hiking. We saw plenty of deer, turkeys, chipmunks, birds and even a small black bear. We didn’t fish but saw plenty at the lake. This property was a 10/10 for us and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again.

This cabin was just as described. Loved the wood interior. Came for a funeral and loved that it was big enough for myself and my adult children and their children. Would stay again in happier times. Thank you for the accomodations.

Great Cabin

Our family really enjoyed staying at this cozy cottage. It was clean, quiet, and great proximity to all amenities. It had plenty of space and the 3 separate floors allowed for privacy for each family. We highly recommend!

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Great home to stay in and there is plenty to do in the area - hiking trails, Chimney Rock, horseback riding and Hickory Nut Falls to name a few. Would recommend it to anyone. Thanks!

Great Stay in Riverbend!

We had an amazing time! The cabin was clean and spacious! Huge wraparound deck with a porch swing and rocking chairs that we enjoyed nightly. The swimming hole and river in the community were so much fun. Close to lake lure and chimney rock. Overall a great stay!

A delightful cabin!

We truly enjoyed our stay here! The cabin is well laid out with plenty of room for everyone. We LOVED spending evenings on the wrap around porch playing games and grilling out. It is remote enough to really feel like you can "get away from it all", but close enough to things like restaurants, shops, grocery store, hiking, and lake activities.

Family Getaway

Property was secluded and quiet. Everything was neat and clean and smelled nice. Had a hick up with lock box for key but was quickly corrected. Location was close to several adventure spots and local restaurants were very tasty and priced affordable. We will stay here again.
