Features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with premium appliances, laundry, free parking, and a beautiful backyard with a deck, BBQ, and gas fire pit. Your host lives nearby and is happy to help make your stay enjoyable. The main floor features three comfortable bedrooms, a full bathroom, a bright living room, a welcoming dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen designed for both everyday meals and home chefs. In addition to all the essentials, you’ll find thoughtful extras including a gas stove, air fryer, rice cooker, Keurig and Nespresso coffee machines, plus plenty of kitchen gadgets to make cooking easy and enjoyable. Enjoy a quick breakfast at the cozy two-person kitchen table or gather everyone around the dining table, which comfortably seats six.

Downstairs, you’ll find a newly renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower, along with convenient laundry facilities available for your use throughout your stay.

Nice place, huge backyard. Parking was great. Over all the house was nice and warm. The only problem i had was with the key locks. It took me awhile to figure it out. Locking and unlocking were a problem . Apparently they were new locks. But they should have explained exactly how to maneuver them.

I was born in Calgary but grew up in Prince George, BC. Once I finished my degree I moved to the beautiful Emerald Isle (Ireland) and stayed there for nearly 20 years. I returned to Calgary a few years ago to be closer to family.

I enjoy playing softball, baking and taking classes to learn new things and meet new people! I am a scientist by day and love to spend my evenings watching movies with my family and working on new cookie recipes! Macarons are my favourite to make - and eat!

Why they chose this property

I didn't choose this neighbourhood, I chose the house! Although I have to say, the neighbourhood is exactly what I would want if I was travelling to a city. The area is quiet, safe and well set up so you can relax and enjoy yourself. The neighbourhood is well established so it has beautiful gardens and large trees, as well as numerous walking trails very close by. It feels like you're far away from busy life but you're actually very close to downtown. Its also close to routes to help you get to any part of town you want to.

What makes this property unique

My Grandmother owned this house for over 60 years, so it has been a location for family gatherings and celebrations for as long as I can remember. She was a fantastic cook and baker, so the house has always been a place where bellies were full and the food was fantastic. Stealing cookies from the freezer was something that happened multiple times a day! It was years before I knew what one was like at room temperature!

When my Grandma could no longer live at home, I couldn't face the idea of not being able to come into this house. I love the layout, how its so beautifully situated in these wonderful surroundings, the quiet. The neighbours are great people, some are family friends since before I was born. So it holds a lot of special memories for me and I wanted to be able to share with people visiting Calgary a place that has a lot of warmth, comfort and history.
