At a Dala farm (Dalagård) in Middle Sweden



you will find this rustic holiday home which has been renovated in 1995 and which is situated high up in a small settlement.



The interior with wooden furniture provides for a cosy atmosphere and it is a bright and spacious house with a large living room and large kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and coffee machine as well as sleeping areas for up to six persons. The offer will be completed here by a shower and WC. Your landlady also lives at the farm and can give you some helpful hints concerning the region.



Ovanmyra is located 15 km north of Rättvik in the area around the lake Siljan. The unique nature of the Siljan region originated from a large meteorite impact. Because of this the scenery was shaped in a new way. The village is situated high up with a lot of marked hiking trails, also well suited for cycle tours and horse riding. In the vicinity you will find a wonderful and romantic waterfall, named "Styggforsen", which is the obvious place for a trip with picnic basket.



The area is rich in elks, bears and beavers and there exist several nature reserves. Rättvik is well-known for music and theatre. The Festival "Music by Siljan" is arranged every year in Rättvik, Leksand and Mora and the "Classic Car Week", a meeting for old-timer enthusiasts from all over Scandinavia, takes place every year in Rättvik.
