the Lucas family were very very good hosts, the apartment was also excellent. our only concern when we arrived was that the property was in close proximity to the road, but after about 8pm, the traffic quietened down. Kamp Bornhofen is a pretty village on the banks of the river Rhein, and is very central to exploring both the Rhein and Moselle valleys, with Cochem, Koblenz, and Rudesheim, all within easy reach.
