I'm originally from Missouri, but consider myself a Georgia girl now! My daughter went to Savannah College of Art & Design and I fell in love with Georgia. I was a nurse for 20 years and then a real estate agent in Savannah.
I'm retired now, living in a beautiful home on 47 acres. I decided to build a ""Pool House" for family and friends and use it as a vacation rental.

Why they chose this property

The property is in Claxton, GA- home of the famous Claxton Fruitcakes. It's a nice small town. You turn off the main road and drive to the end of the road and that's where my house and the cottage are. It's like your went from town to the country. There's a 5 acre pond for fishing, It's a good walk around the pond for exercise and you will see the ducks, geese and maybe a deer or two. It's peaceful and quiet and I enjoy sharing it with others.

What makes this property unique

There's a main house where I live and last year we built an in-ground pool with a hot tub. It can be used by request and at your own risk. A fishing pond, we'll even provide poles for you to try your luck. The cottage has a beautiful view of the pond, pool and the deer feeder that goes off twice a day. It's a unique property in a serene setting.
