The Weniger holiday rental is located in a quiet, rural setting, about 2.5 km from the centre of Lienen, on the southern slope of the Teutoburg Forest. In Lienen, you’ll find numerous restaurants and shops along the beautiful alleys of the old town. A wonderful place to find peace and quiet is the barefoot park at the “Haus des Gastes.” The nearest supermarket is about 2.5 km from the holiday rental.
The holiday rental is beautifully nestled among fields and meadows. The farm roads (Pättkes) offer wonderful bike rides right from your doorstep. The surrounding area stretches towards Ostbevern, featuring Loburg Castle and Greven. Active cyclists prefer the hills of the Teutoburg Forest towards Tecklenburg or Bad Iburg. Both towns, like Lienen, surprise visitors with their beautiful townscapes. The nearest marked bike path is about 700 m away. Horseback riding opportunities are available in the immediate vicinity. Hikers will find numerous trails for extended hikes in the Tecklenburg region. The beautiful “Holperdorper” Teutoschleife trail runs about 1.7 km from the holiday rental.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
Helaas hing er een muffige geur bij aankomst die nog wel even bleef hangen. Er was geen warm welkom erg zakelijk. Jammer vonden wij toen het mooi weer was dat er de hele dag moest worden gemaaid het gras etc, kanten Snijder grote traktor terwijl de gastheer gepensioneerd is en zag dat wij wij buiten zaten, jammer. Het uitzicht is prima uniek mooi behalve dat je toch niet privacy had waar je voor kwam. En dan het verdriet dat van een ernstig zieke vrouw, geeft toch dat je je niet op je plek voelt. Erg ongemakkelijk. Op dit moment zouden wij het adviseren.
