Our experience was bittersweet. The setting was beautiful on a fall weekend, and the cove was definitely the highlight of our stay.Unfortunately, there was considerable noise on Saturday and Sunday from loud motorcycles, ATVs, and trucks drag racing repeatedly around the area. This detracted from the peaceful setting.The interior photos also made the property appear larger than it actually was. Although TVs are in the bedrooms, the family room is down 12 stairs. Due to difficulty with stairs, we ended up watching TV in bed. A TV on the main level above the fireplace would be a welcome addition.The biggest issue was the overwhelming number of stink bugs. They were inside the unit, covering the exterior walls, clinging to the screens, and gathering under the deck furniture cover. When we opened the screens, many fell onto the deck or entered the unit. We tried the bug spray provided, but it did little to help. Professional pest treatment would make a big difference.Despite these issues, the beauty of the cove was memorable. Better pest control, less noise, and a TV on the main level would greatly improve the experience.
