The nearest bathing beach can be reached in about 10 minutes, and within a 20 km radius you will find around 30 different beaches on the Flensburg Fjord, such as Holnis, or on the Baltic Sea, such as Kronsgaard. You can enjoy all kinds of water sports, including sailing, water skiing, surfing and kiting. The surroundings offer numerous nature reserves, forests and nature experiences. You should also visit the Viking village Haitabu near Schleswig.
