YOUR VACATION SPOT IN ST. THOMAS

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing time at the beach, fun family activities, fine dining and shopping nearby, or some combination of these, you’ve found the perfect place to stay. Our ground-floor, one bedroom, two bathroom condo on beautiful Sapphire Beach has a fully-equipped kitchen, two fold-out sofa beds, and a magnificent view of St. John and the British Virgin Islands.

Step out front to the clean, white-sand beach where lounge chairs are provided, snorkeling equipment is available, and food and drinks can be delivered to you in the shade of sea grape trees. Out the back door are lighted tennis courts and a private swimming pool. This quiet, gated community with on-premise security offers privacy and protection yet is close to restaurants, shops, local attractions, and the ferry to other island destinations.

A five-minute walk takes you to the Sapphire Beach Marina, where you can arrange sailing, fishing, or snorkeling adventures, day trips down island, sunset dinner cruises, and jet ski rentals. Parking is just outside the back door. If you don't want to rent a car, taxis are easily called, or take the local safari-style bus that circles the island which stops at the end of the driveway.

Great location!! Very close walk to the beach. Our place was clean and beds were comfy!!Very large living area. Having two bathrooms was very nice & being on ground level for my elderly mom with her wheelchair made things easier for us. A few eating places were within 10-15 min walk or less. Would definitely stay again!

The location and proximity to the beach was fantastic! The checkin and check out process was super easy. The place had plenty of space, the only real complaint was that hot water was scarce, and we wanted to run the dishwasher, and there was no detergent, or a sample pack of laundry detergent either. We would stay here again.

The close proximity to the beach, marina, and restaurants, the spacious living area and the general cleanliness were all positives. At this price point, though, I would have expected furnishings to be in better condition. Many of the lights & fans were rusty and some were not working, the futon cushions are in need of new foam. and the salvaged refrigerator door was particularly unsightly with black and brown stains all over.

Beach and resort are wonderful. The unit is less than desirable. Poorly lit. No light in an awful looking refrigerator. Mattress is disgusting under the padding. 2 futons in living room are very uncomfortable. On the positive: having a washer/dryer for a long stay is a plus. Being able to walk to the safari bus is great. Can get to much of the island without the cost of taxi or rental car.

Great location

Unit is a bit dated but the location is definitely worth every penny, I would come back again. The host was very responsive to any questions or issues, I would say the incidentals such as shampoo sunscreen spices in the cupboard etc could be better compared to other properties but all n all… that location can’t be beat.

I have been using VRBO for nearly 20 years, and this is my first negative review ever on VRBO. Unfortunately this place felt like a Motel 6. Our first impression walking in was the smell of over powering Lysol while as the condo felt dirty. Both futons in the living room were so uncomfortable you wouldn’t want to sit on them let alone sleep on them. There was only one broken stake knife and one bread knife, so good luck cutting anything. The closest in the hallway was so dirty it looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned since the 80’s. I would highly recommend not renting this place.

Everything was great the one shower is not working but Everything else was great. My daughter lost her earrings by the pool or in the room but we had an awesome time.

The property is better than the pictures look online. The location was perfect. We hope to go back and stay there again. Having the beach right outside our door was super fantastic. very nice location. Comfortable furniture. Three Restaurants nearby. 5 minute walk to marina for day or sunset charters. Pool directly across from condo backdoor. Taxis 5 minute walk or safari buses run frequently by property. REd Hook a mile away with restaurants and St John ferry. Would rent again.

ANOTHER GREAT VACATION

Third time at this property, first time in this unit... Great location for accessibility to the beach, pool, tennis courts and the condo itself... Unit served our purposes very well and any small issues we had were promptly addressed by the on site manager... Have stayed at other locations in St. Thomas as well as St. Croix and from our perspective Sapphire Beach and Crystal Cove can't be beat for value, amenities and proximity to the best St Thomas has to offer...

Wonderful property.

Check in was a little hard, Boone was at the office and we had to wait a few minutes. A/c works great. Was very clean. Power outages cause wasted food from not having power. WiFi never worked.

Condo was very clean. The location is perfect. It was nice to have snorkel gear. The water pressure and temp were fine. Only 4 stars because the condo can really use some tender loving care. Tiles are falling off the wall, parts of the recessed lights are hanging down, there are holes in some of the walls, and the fridge door is rusty and stained. The light switches don’t all have knobs and they don’t all work. The outlets don’t all work, and some aren’t tight enough to hold plugs in. One of the futon frames is broken. Luckily we didn’t need both futons. There’s a dustpan but no broom, so there was no way for us to sweep up sand. They provided a boogie board but it was broken. When I used it, pieces of styrofoam floated out, so I stopped. These little things did not prevent us from enjoying our stay. But for the prices we pay for Sapphire Beach Condos, I’d rather have a place that has addressed the wear and tear, maybe add a broom, some laundry soap samples, and fix the broken parts and pieces.

Repeat Visit

This is our 5th stay at this complex and 2nd in this unit... Perfect venue for our requirements with a great beach and helpful support personnel... Only downside this year was the fact that we were not advised in advance about the extensive renovations being made to the entire complex which made for some major inconveniences accessing the beach and also utilizing the pool... These improvements were almost complete by the time we left so they will be able to be appreciated by future guests... We are already discussing plans for our next visit to St. Thomas and based on our total experiences this venue will continue to be our go to location...

Perfect setting

Location was very user friendly. Large area in front with sidewalks for walking. A pond, green manicured grass and many glowering shrubs. Beach a short walk away. Water in 3 shades of blue. Condo was spacious. Utilitarian kitchen. Two futons in living room and a large master with lots of closet space. King size bed. Two bathrooms. Will rent again.

Beautiful Beach

My boyfriend and I stayed March 2nd - March 9th, 2021. The location is very convenient to Red Hook for shopping and dining. The condo is outdated and could use some TLC. BUT, the location is ideal. You are just steps away from Sapphire Beach which is small, but beautiful. There is a beach bar for food and drinks, and a coffee shop for breakfast and coffee. One thing you should know is that you have to take a taxi if you leave the property. Although Red Hook is only 3/4 mile away, walking there is out of the question. There are no sidwalks and it is a narrow, extremely busy road.

AMAZING LOCATION!

Everything was perfect during my stay here! The condo was spacious and had everything I needed! The unit is extremely clean and the bed is so comfortable! Sapphire Beach is a quick walk right outside the unit and the staff here were so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and beach bar staff were also so amazing. The fish tacos are outstanding here! The pool and tennis court are directly across from this unit! So convenient. Taxis pick you up right at the gate and the front office staff are so friendly. Overall, I highly recommend a stay here. The unit is a bit dated but that didn’t matter to me as a single woman I wanted a clean, friendly, safe place close to the ocean! Mission accomplished and then some! One tip: the front entrance to the unit is very well lit at night….the entrance toward ocean needs some lighting outside.
