Why Greenwall Yosemite chose Yosemite Area

For the past 20 years, we've been vacationing at Yosemite National Park. We finally decided to look for a place to purchase so we can continue to enjoy the area with our children for the many years to come.

What makes this house unique

Every time we visit our vacation home, we immediately relax by sitting out on our large decks amongst the tall pines, and looking at all the amazing stars above in the evening. Occasionally, we'll see deer grazing in our wooded lot.

I can not say enough about how great this trip was and how helpful Cathy was! Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

This trip was terrific! The home was just as promised big but cozy surrounded by trees and all that snow! The wood burning fire place warmed up the house quick and made it feel like home. The house was clean and the kitchen was stocked with anything we could possibly have needed. Extra pillows and blankets too. Directions were accurate. The home is nestled amongst the trees and is close enough to see other houses but not too close to those houses so you really feel the privacy. We went on a walk through the area and the scenery was spectacular! The two story house also allowed for the adults and kids to have their own space at times, which was great. Cathy was very helpful leading up to trip. Once she found out snow was expected before our trip she let me know where I could find things like shovels at the house if we needed it. Two nights was much to short for our family. We will definitely come back and stay longer next time. The beds were super comfortable and I'm picky when it comes to beds too. All of us just had a great time. Thanks Cathy again for being the cherry on top of our Christmas vacation! All charged and ready for a New Year!!

Greenwall is a fantastic house for visiting yosemite! Well stocked kitchen with cozy open plan living room space. And those beds! Great linens and pillows/mattress. House got warm and stayed warm fast. The Fish Camp area is adorable as well.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time here. Everything was easy and very comfortable. We were able to cook delicious meals, catch up on reading in the quiet of the trees and breathe in the fresh mountain air!

Easy access to Yosemite NP

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to stay for exploring Yosemite NP. Comfortable accommodations and nicely equipped. Located on a quiet, shady cul-de-sac. No AC but we never felt we needed it - house was always cool and very comfortable. Owner was very accommodating when we had an unexpected last minute delay to our trip. We would stay at Greenwall again!

Super Convenient to Yosemite

  • 5 of 5

The Greenwall property is a really good option for anyone looking to stay near Yosemite. It is about as close as you can stay without being at one of the in park lodges. It was a very good value, clean, neat, spacious with comfortable beds and furnishings. The only drawback was the lack of a/c and temperatures rose to 105 in Yosemite valley while we were there. Honestly, I don't think I'd put a/c in if it were my property. By the mornings it had cooled to upper 50's low 60's. So overall very good place to come home and rest after a long day in one of our nations treasures, Yosemite.

This was the best equiped VRBO rental we have ever had!

  • 5 of 5

The owner of this property has thought of everything you might need so you don't need to run to the store. Bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body soap, q-tips, etc. The kitchen and bathroom had a resupply of toilet paper and paper towels. The house even had tissues in multiple spots. And a decent set of kitchen knives ... always a problem with so many VRBOs. All of this was very handy because you are in the middle of nowhere with one general store at the bottom of the hill that closes at an early hour.

Be aware that although you are only two miles from the park entrance, you are still 35 miles from Yosemite Valley which will take you an hour at the best of times on very curvy roads. However, unless you plan way in advance, it's about as close as you can get.

It was very quiet and comfortable here and ideal for some downtime after a day of hiking.
