Relaxation, peace, and time to yourself! Don’t we all need that sometimes? “das Herman” can provide just that...

We look forward to your visit to our tiny house “das Herman,” No. 302.
But first, we’d like to get you excited about the region and the location: the Elbe Valley Floodplains Biosphere Reserve, just outside Hamburg, in the immediate vicinity of Lauenburg and Bleckede.
Located directly on the Elbe Bike Trail and the Elbe dike, “das Herman” is an ideal starting point for bike tours, canoe trips, and hikes into the Elbe’s headwaters.
Small sandy beaches invite you to swim and relax. You’ll have a direct view of the dike and, often, the wildlife that lives there.
In the summer, you can enjoy the terrace, and in the winter, the wood-burning stove.
The house is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, AirFryer, pots and pans for the ceramic cooktop, electric kettle, Krups capsule coffee machine (Nespresso), a French press, a toaster, an outdoor gas grill (gas cartridges), B&O speakers, a smart TV, a yoga mat, a TEMPUR mattress, and much more to make your stay as special as possible… And if you do need to go online, high-speed fiber-optic internet is always available.

Bedding and towels are already set up and ready upon arrival. You can also book a sauna and bowling alley (for a fee).
