DESCRIPTION

Beautiful 3 bedroom townhome chalet across from the entrance to the Village at Blue Mountains.

Chalet features: stocked kitchen, dry sauna, patio set, BBQ and gas fireplace. Spacious 1650 sq. ft. of space is well suited for families and corporate team building retreats. Two decks, one facing the mountain and one facing the first fairway of the Monterra Golf Course. Modern decor with updated floors and cathedral ceilings.

We provide duvets (blankets), pillows and basic toiletries (dish soap, hand soap and toilet paper). Guests bring bed sheets, pillow cases and towels. Number of duvets supplied = number of persons booked in reservation! Include the accurate number of guests in your reservation! Guests requiring all linens can add this service to reservation for an additional charge.

LINENS:

We have added value for your stays! Full linens are now included, including towels, bedsheets, blankets/duvets and pillows with pillow cases at no extra charge.

The description of the property was exactly as described. We booked the property over the July long weekend for a bachelorette party and there was plenty of room for everyone. The place was clean and well equipped. Location is excellent, few minute walk to the village. Would recommend it to friends and family.

What guest thought you could improve about the experience:

With space for so many people it would be nice to have more "hotel like" amenities such as soap, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer. It's not a complaint, just the only thing I can think of that would've made packing/preparing for the trip easier.

Very Clean, Perfect Location!

Very clean condo and well kept - perfect size for our group. Exactly as shown in the photos. I would actually say that the condo is a bit larger than it seems in the photos. You can't beat the location as it is very close to the village and extremely easy to walk there. You can see the ski hills from the front balcony. Was very impressed with how well-stocked the kitchen was with a lot of really useful supplies, and the fridge was large which was great for us as we brought a lot of our own groceries. Overall, a really great stay. Would highly recommend.

Great stay!

Had a little trouble with the key code, but the place was awesome. Nice and clean. 2 minute walk to the village. Nice and roomy and good amount of supplies for our group. Would definitely go back.

nice place.. great location..

We had a great girls weekend.. Location was perfect. It was right across the street from the village so we could walk there for lunch a little shopping and a little night life. The place was very clean and had everything you need to just relax. The only thing I would say is the bed in the master bedroom was a little uncomfortable but would go back again...

BEWARE! BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!

I am writing this review due to the the lack of communication involved when we had noticed the bed bugs in both of the rooms with bunk beds and voiced our concern for future renters. I had stayed there on May 27th-May 29th 2016 and some people had noticed some bites -upon further investigation we were able to find bed bugs in the mattresses. We tried to contact the person in charge of this unit who has ignored all emails and since it is a Public Health issue- the public needs to be aware when looking to rent something like this. We all had to go home and throw a lot of our belongings out so they did not infest our houses! DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!

Owner's Response: Dear Future guests, Please take this review with a grain of salt, as this guest was just looking for a free stay and left our chalet in a very messy state. Our chalet DOES NOT have bed bugs nor does any unit in our chalet complex have bed bugs as we have verified by 2 third-party professionals. This guest phoned me several times in the days leading up to her stay even up to the day she entered to confirm her pass code. Yet somehow the guest chose to remain silent during her stay despite her claim of displeasure. The day after her stay she claimed that they had been bitten throughout and sent me a photo of ONE insect with wings (note bed bugs do not have wings), and a photo of her hand that showed some warts (these were white nodules on back of her hands like warts, bed bugs go after your shoulders, back, arms, etc.). None of these indicated bites or bed bugs. Rest assured, our chalet was inspected by 2 separate professionals after her stay and our whole bedding was laundered in special machines. There were and are no bed bugs in our unit. We requested that she see a doctor to diagnose her hand, which she did not do. Please trust our long track record (about 2 years) of having an exceptionally clean chalet. Please also know this tenant has lied stating that we were not in communication with her from the moment she made her claim on Monday both by phone and email through to the day it was resolved by inspectors that there were no bed bugs. On top of this the tenant claimed she sent unmailed emails, which VRBO confirmed she did not send. Then the tenant claimed the bites occurred from the Saturday night at bed time when the photos were taken, yet the photos showed that it was clearly day light. The tenant wanted to have a free early check-in, which we complied with. Then the tenant left our chalet in a very messy state which we wanted to charge and should have. Lastly the past guest said she worked for a company selling bed bug products.... She also fails to use her same name that was on the reservation for this review. Whether she was expecting a sale or looking for a free stay it's disappointing to know that she took advantage of a family-owned business that has and continues to keep a high cleanliness standard. Clean, close to the village

It was challenging at first to get in as the door code didn't work. But after that it was great for our weekend of skiing. I would stay here again. There are lots of reminder signs of things to do during your stay and before you leave.
