World class fishing, river rafting and hunting is available in the area as well.

Our grounds occupy 160 acres - lots of room for hiking and exploring. Several ponds are also available for fishing and swimming. We are located about 15 minutes off of Highway 12 about halfway between Lewiston and Missoula. Animals are present as this is a working ranch as well. I am an ex-retired homeowner doing my best to keep this ranch by sharing it with others. I used to be a Microsoft Developer, made my fortune and came here for Y2K and to retire only to lose it to professional money managers. I have long had a vision to share this beautiful place with others and at the same time help support the many talented and interesting people that live in this area. I am also a chess coach and love to help kids learn how to think clearly.
Sanford Staab purchased this chateau / country house in 1999
Kooskia is in the Palouse valley and is known as the banana belt of the northwest. It is one of the best kept secrets for a quality lifestyle. My kids have left the house so now we have a large, empty place we want to share. This property has so much water on it and herbs and views and beauty, we just love it. You will experience the feeling of wilderness with the top notch comforts of a fancy home complete with AC and uninterruptable power.
Water is in our name because that is what we have with the highest quality and a lot of quantity.

Private get-a-way. Large comfortable well appointed home with salt water pool and big hot tub set in a gorgeous wooded setting. We had a family reunion here and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Had pretty much everything we needed. The pool was a definite attraction, getting much use. Plenty of areas for different groups to congregate. Pool table, large screen TV with online access, trails to hike and lots of wildlife to see. Beautiful area. We'll be back and will recommend to others.
Lifewater Ranch lies close to the bitterroot mountains of Idaho, some of the most scenic and wild areas of the US. Game hunting and world class fishing and water rafting are available nearby. Ecologically untouched, abundant wildlife and totally healthy.
