The house is surrounded by a romantic garden with a lawn perfect for playing and relaxing. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood on the edge of the forest, at the foot of the Balsberg. In front of the house are 4 parking spaces; 2 spaces are available per vacation apartment.
The Schneckerlnest is a completely newly built, ground-level apartment with its own terrace and access to the garden, designed entirely without steps or thresholds. The bathroom, with its floor-level shower, tilting mirror, grab bars at the shower, toilet, and sink, and its generous space, is also well-suited for wheelchair users.
We’ve furnished the Schneckerlnest with great attention to detail, turning it into a uniquely decorated, cozy, and homey apartment—despite its wheelchair-accessible features. It’s designed to make you feel right at home!
The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and baking, so why not try your hand at a few Bavarian specialties? On the apartment’s terrace, you can't only barbecue but also simply enjoy the fresh air or take a stroll through the garden.

The apartment is located right at the foot of the Balsberg; you’re just a few steps away from nature. From the apartment, you can walk to: - the village center, with a supermarket, ice cream shop, pharmacy, restaurants, and shops, in 10 minutes; - Lake Wössner in 15 minutes; - the Alpine Gliding School in 20 minutes.Lake Chiemsee is 16 km away, heading out of the valley, and is easily accessible by bike on flat terrain. Unterwössen is ideally situated as a starting point for hikes in the Achental Valley, and destinations in Austria are also within easy reach.
