Superb cottage

Very relaxing holiday

Very nice property, this was our 1st time staying in this type of property so did not see that we had to take our own bedding, the owner’s very kindly offered to supply bedding, the Little house is beautiful and in a very nice location, thank you so much for a very much for making our stay very relaxing

We had a Great Holiday, very nice owners who are always helpful. We went there with our 2 dogs, and it was a pleasure to see that the garden was completely closed. We had everything we needed and more... We will definitely come back!

Beautiful cottage stay in a lovely location

We had a lovely stay in this cottage with our pet dog. It is in a central location for Berck, Montrieull and Le Torque which we visited. The cottage has everything that you could ask for and more! The host were there to meet us which was a lovely start to the holiday. They live very near to the property but are very discreet with any watering of plants etc . We even had an electric fan on our doorstep one day without asking which was very welcome given the impending heatwave. The garden was absolutely fabulous and very secure so we could rest easy when our dog was out playing with his ball. Overall a fantastic property to stay in and one we will definitely recommend! We hope to visit this hidden gem again and enjoy the amazing french hospitality again.

A charming Little House

We were given a warm and friendly welcome by the owners, a lovely hard working couple who were nearby but never intrusive. The Little House is in a peaceful village and the garden really is family friendly with plenty of space and high hedges surrounding a huge lawn and patio. We were happy to spend our summer holiday here with our 2 dogs, it's a very comfortable little house and found plenty to go out and see.There's ample parking on the drive and it's a few minutes walk to the main street for the early morning bakery- fresh baguette for breakfast- and the little supermarket which has a good range of fresh milk, juice, veg and meat etc. We found plenty of restaurants/bars in every town we visited where we could dine with the dogs sitting under the table. A very enjoyable experience.

Great location but a couple of niggles

Property was clean and tidy and in an ideal location for walking the dog to the village. All the locals are very friendly and the local food store has a very helpful manager given that I had to go out the first night and buy some basics. The property was great with everything you need in an holiday rental apart from two things. The enclosed front garden is a highlight which was great for the dog Mosquitoes at night in the loft bedroom and a very poor and intermittent WiFi signal being broadcast from the owners house which is adjacent to the property. The property was advertised with WiFi which it clearly doesn’t have now and comments like the previous English renters did not complain/ or just use your data plan / or you can go to McDonalds in another town where far from helpful in my opinion. I had to get the owners to reboot the router, as one of the issues was the router thought I was a threat etc. They tried their best to help me but clearly they couldn’t given this was a range issue and there devices where known and also had access to known cached websites on the router

This is a nice property, well equipped with a good, securely fenced garden and patio that would be ideal for a small family with children or, like ourselves, with a dog.Our hosts were welcoming and charming. My only note of caution is that its alternating tread staircase is not ideal for people who are unsteady.

Des hôtes très accueillants et bien sympathiques.Un gîte tres bien entretenu, très propre et bien complet, on ne manque de rien. Très bien accueillie par les propriétaires. La maison est fonctionnelle et très propre. Je suis venue avec mon chien. le jardin est entretenu et clôturé ce qui est un plus pour nos animaux. La maison est dans un secteur calme et très bien située : à proximité de la plage 20 min et de jolies villes comme Montreuil sur mer. Si vous aimez la nature vous êtes servis ! il y a des randonnées à faire où les chiens sont admis. A montreuil sur mer, les remparts sont aussi autorisés aux chiens. Je reviendrai sans hésitation.

Ideale Lage

Herzlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeber. Für unseren Hund war es toll, dass das ganze Gelände total eingezäunt ist. Von hier aus konnten wir die verschiedensten Strände an der Côte d'Opal gut erreichen. Sehr sehenswert ist auch die Zitadelle in Montreuil sur mer. - Wir wurden im Haus Fliegengitter empfehlen. Ein Dankeschön an die Gastgeber.

Wirklich kleines Haus

Wir haben uns nicht sehr wohl gefühlt in dem Haus. Es roch nach Abfluss und die Küchenschränke müffelte. Die Treppe zum Schlafzimmer war steil, glatt und hatte nur halbe Stufen. Unsere Hunde mussten hoch und runter getragen werden. Der Garten war allerdings toll. Sehr gepflegt und komplett eingezäunt. Bei der Ankunft mussten wir für unsere Hunde nach erzählen, da die Vermieter bei der Buchung vergessen haben, diese Kosten auf die Rechnung zu setzen. Es gab kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm. Dass eine Waschmaschine vorhanden war, war positiv, allerdings fehlte genug Seil zum Wäschheaufhängen.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen im Norden Frankreichs verbracht. Die Unterkunft hat unseren Erwartungen entsprochen, hervorzuheben ist der riesige umzäunte Garten, so dass unser Hund sich frei bewegen konnte. Die Strände sind in 15min mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen, das Meer ist toll und lädt zum Baden ein. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
