Comfortable house with fireplace/conservatory, fenced garden. Dog friendly!

Our vacation home, which opened in 2021, is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the tranquil neighborhood of Pönitz. It is comfortably and modernly furnished and offers everything you need for a wonderful vacation with your dog: a fenced-in yard with direct access through the garden gate, a bright sunroom, and a fireplace. There are many walking trails starting right from the house, including paths to various inland lakes and the large Scharbeutz dog park.
From October 1 through the end of March, the beaches are open to dogs and horses. It’s especially nice during this time to come home from a refreshing walk on the beach and settle in comfortably by the fireplace. And if you happen to get very wet, no problem—there’s a dedicated laundry and drying room in the basement.
The large kitchen is equipped with everything you need on vacation. It even includes a kitchen scale and a hand mixer. In addition, there’s a huge, modern refrigerator with several freezer compartments. This makes it easy to store even large quantities of frozen foods.
In the garden, there’s a private bike shed as well as a woodpile from which guests can take firewood in exchange for a donation. In the summer, garden furniture and two separate lounge chairs are, of course, available. There is also a large gas grill, complete with a filled gas cylinder.
We welcome guests who wish to vacation with their dog(s). For this purpose, we’ve built a garden fence consisting of wooden palisades and double-bar fencing, ranging in height from 160 to 180 cm. During the warmer months, a garden hose is available for rinsing off or cleaning the dogs in the garden. The 18-hectare “Scharbeuter Heide” dog park is within walking distance. If you need assistance with training or have questions about everyday life with your dog, we’re available to help as certified dog trainers licensed under § 11 of the Animal Welfare Act (TierSchG), upon request. Please understand that, for animal welfare reasons, dogs may not be left alone in the house.
