Spent a long weekend to take boys to The Wild Center ... a bit rainy but a great experience overall.
Great get away weekend
Peaceful and comfortable Log Cabin to stay at in Tupper Lake. Close to the lake, golf course, and beauty of the outdoors. If you want to relax & golf, this is the place to stay. Best get away weekend to Tupper Lake ever.
House was fully furnished and clean. Enjoyed sitting on the porch. great week
Great week Great log cabin
Cozy and beautiful. Would love to come back in the summer.
1970's cabin in the pines
I like the setting of the cabin with the Brook babbling you to sleep at night, what more can you ask for. The NY State boat launch is 3 min. away, and down town is about 8 min.. Lil Italy restaurant had real good food, and many items to pick from. The Wild Center is there and Kids like it with the new attractions. The fire works on the 3rd were great even with the threat of rain. I would stay there again.
Wonderful week in the mountain
We (with my husband, our 3 daughters and their husband/fiancé/boyfriend) spent about a week in the house and we enjoyed our stay very much. We fell in love with the place from the very beginning. Very cozy atmosphere in the log cabin and all we needed was available. The piano was a plus as many in the group are musicians. The nature around is just beautiful and quiet with many possibilities for different activities - hiking, fishing, canoe, kayak etc.
The owner is very responsive and was very understanding when we miscalculated the days and had not left as usual before noon.
A drawback and suggestion for improvement is related to the basement (where 4 persons can sleep) – it is quite humid even with the dehumidifier and smells a little bit.
Prime location to explore all of the exciting opportunities the Adirondack Region provides.
The Wild Center Museum of Natural History with daily events that include canoeing, nature walks, maple syrup production, view live otters in their natural habitats and much more!
