My Grandfather homesteaded in this area in the 1890's.
We purchased this property first for our family, to have a connection with their heritage and to make it available for our guests to enjoy the area.

The host, Tamra Smith, was very helpful. We showed up for a Company hunting trip and Tamra and her husband were very helpful in pointing out some spots for us to check. The lodge is beautiful with large rooms and bathrooms in almost every room. The large BBQ and kitchen with the additional entertainment room and large deck made the lodge feel ten times bigger then it looks in pictures. The only negative would be the lack of a jacuzzi after a long day hiking through the woods. There is a large concrete patio area where I would anticipate seeing one in the future and this would be a 5 star review.
Our stay here was wonderful. The Lodge is an amazing place to stay for big families. We had such a great time here. Tamara was amazing too. She answered every question, answered every text and phone call. We will be back.
Thank you for having us.
Our family so enjoyed our stay at Northern Lights Lodge. It was beautiful and a loverly place to stay. We would highly recommend it and hope to stay there again.
The lodge was very clean and everything was operation properly. Accommodations were very comfortable the people tending the lodge were friendly very helpful and went beyond expectations to make our stay a pleasure. Hope to be back soon
My group of 22 college softball players had a very enjoyable time at this lodge. More than adequately equipped for awesome cooking. Bedrooms were so warm, although 18 more comfortable than 22. Baths were fabulous. We could not have asked for a better place to provide a top notched experience for our ladies. Would highly recommend for any group that wants bonding time and also nighttime and bathroom privacy. Will come back. Tamara was soooo good and would have been quick to help us if we needed it, but explained everything to us so well up front that our stay was flawless. Very clean. Just a 5+ star weekend.
