Modern 2-room apartment for up to 4 people: Wi-Fi, dishwasher, double bed, separate children’s room, balcony with lake view. Look forward to a bright and cozy living area with a comfortable seating area, a dining nook offering a beautiful view of the inland lake, and an open kitchenette—perfect for a relaxing vacation. From the living area, you have direct access to the sunny south-facing balcony—the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh Baltic Sea air and the view of the water.
The comfortable double bed (approx. 180 x 200 cm) is harmoniously integrated into the back area of the living room. For children or additional guests, there is a separate bedroom with a cozy bunk bed and a spacious closet.

Vacation Apartment 16 is located on the first floor of the “Windjammer” building and is easily accessible by elevator.
The “Windjammer” building is ideally situated for a vacation on the north side of the inland lake! The beach is just a few steps away. And in general, the building is a great starting point for everything you might want to do on vacation:
Restaurants, a playground, a skate park, and kiosks are all in the immediate vicinity. A bakery, bike rental, a mini-golf course, and—for the more athletic guests—a fitness center are also just under 800 meters away. There’s a great hiking trail leading to the cliffs—depending on the season, you might spot Galloway cattle and their calves there.
Our charming old town is about 2 km away—the best way to get there is to stroll along the lakefront promenade right into the heart of the city. With its traditional fishing harbor, numerous shopping options, delicious restaurants, the “Graswarder” nature reserve, the lovely beach, and the longest pier on the coast, our small harbor town has a lot to offer.
You can conveniently park your car in the house’s parking lot—and feel free to leave it there. In the summer, in addition to the regular buses, the Heiligenhafen “Bimmelbahn” (tourist train) runs, allowing you to quickly reach the city or the harbor, or you can simply rent a bike from the local bike rental shop. This gives you great flexibility. In general, Heiligenhafen is a great starting point for all kinds of bike tours: you can reach Großenbrode in just over an hour—a bit faster on an e-bike—or enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and bike straight to Fehmarn.
