Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was easy to find, very private and quiet. It was spacious, clean and had more than we expected in kitchen tools and utensils. We rented mid October so the weather was undergoing the change of seasons. Used the a/c once and the heat once and the fireplace took off the chill for the rest of the time. Cozy and worked out great for the family members attending Army Corp graduation festivities. I'd rent it again in a minute!

(The one and only thing we missed having was large 10-12 oz drinking glasses or cups.)

Excellent Property

  • 5 of 5

Rented this cabin so that we would be able to visit our Soldier stationed at Fort Leonardwood. The cabin worked perfectly for us. Spacious and very user friendly with lots of room to spread out and have a relaxing weekend visiting our daughter. The cabin was clean and updated with all the amenities that we needed.

Perfect Family Rental

  • 5 of 5

We loved the Elbow house!! Driving 12 hours from home for OSUT Graduation for our son, it was fantastic to have a place to call home. It made visiting with him for Family Day all the better, because we could have a cook out, and not feel crowded while he was able to enjoy home life. The distance from the cottage to the base was perfect, only 10 minutes, at most 15 minutes with getting thru the security entry.

The sun/screen porch was amazing. We were able to use it every day, and even took a nap out there one afternoon. The hot tub was used by both my husband and nephew every evening. They found it relaxing.

The privacy that this property offers, is great. Even though you can hear the highway, you can't see it at all, and the woods surrounding the property make you feel like you're in the middle of no-where. Being in the woods, you see many animals and birds, along with the frogs that will sing you to sleep at night.

Thank you for the perfect get away, and visit with our son.

Great!

My family loved this place! Very private and spacious feel. An unexpected bonus was being able to go shooting just a short walk down a trail. I wish the internet was better, though.

Great Management

  • 5 of 5

We had a family retreat and couldn't have been more pleased. We had some light bulbs out so contacted management and they were there immediately to change them.

The river access is wonderful and secluded. We have 4 kids under 7 and it was perfect for them.

Highly recommend the Fort Lenoard Wood Rec Plex for an afternoon. They have a great pool, go-karts and mini golf.

The getaway we needed!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I wanted to get away from it all at a quiet place. This was the perfect place for us. The house was secluded from other housing. As someone else mentioned, it's not far from the highway, but we didn't hear much traffic noise. The house has just about everything you could need. I was impressed with just about all the appliances you could need from a crockpot to an electric chopper. There was a cabinet with games for all ages. A selection of movies was in the living room. Lots of outdoor living space. We didn't get to enjoy this (other than the hot tub) because of the cold temperatures. The beds were okay. (If anything, this would be something that could be improved.) We loved using the hot tub even while it was snowing. We had good communication with the manager and he was very responsive. We definitely plan to return. This house has a ramp, so someone in a wheelchair could stay here. Even though the master bath wasn't "accessible", there was plenty of room for a wheelchair in there. (We watch these things because our daughter is handicapped. We wouldn't have any trouble taking her there.)
