Relax in our FRESH & CLEAN 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo with super comfy master bed (you won't want to get up!). We also have a brand new Contemporary, no-spring, queen size sofa bed. Back right up to our condo deck and make loading/unloading a breeze! Enjoy the outdoor Hot Tub with stunning mountain views, gas grill, game room, & fashionable new lobby. This is a perfect family location (easy walk to all trails and lifts). Enjoy easy access (160 steps) to the semi-private upscale West Wall Lift and play area. The free shuttle bus stops right out front (see Pic).
Pull into our covered Porte Cochere and grab a luggage cart or drive right up to our deck and make unloading your gear a breeze. You'll notice our contemporary new lobby featuring bold colors and a bright, burning fireplace. Take a ride up to our condo just steps from the elevator. Our welcoming entryway provides a boot bench, ski racks, and coat hooks. The Master bedroom has one of the most comfortable queen size beds ever and a view of falling snow. Sleepers appreciate the blackout shades so go ahead, sleep like never before. If it's time to refresh, you should know, we are the home of the super-cool LED Shower Head? Step onto the deck and enjoy the views or head to the hot ♥ tub and watch the sunset on Mt. Crested Butte. Fire up the Grill while looking at our majestic mountain or explore our well-equipped kitchen with most everything a cook would want or need. If you want to go into town, simply walk out of Wood Creek Lodge and catch the FREE shuttle bus to the base village and downtown Crested Butte just a few steps from our entrance. (A beautiful thing about CB is you really don't need a car once you get here (no parking hassles or slippery driving, no worries about drinking and driving, just to get a bite to eat). We know you will enjoy our little slice of heaven!

Raised in Canada, schooled in Florida, lived in North Carolina, Maryland, Florida and currently reside in Texas. BUT always wanted an all-season mountain retreat. We never could find the perfect place - until we found CB!
Colorado is just awesome and we decided to shoot our first album cover in Crested Butte because it is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world. CB is a place where time has stood still. it's almost unreal how helpful, friendly and honest everyone you meet is. It's a place where you can still leave your front door unlocked without concern. It's amazing and reminds me of my homeland growing up - we never locked our doors either.

Why they chose this property
Being from Canada I appreciate the great outdoors. Texas in the summer is like living on the face of the sun! Winters are unsatisfying. Having traveled extensively all over the world we always kept an eye open for a mountain paradise. We found that in Mt. Crested Butte. CB is stunning! Quite simply, the most beautiful area we've ever seen. Breath-taking mountain vistas, world class hiking & biking trails, phenomenal restaurants, bright sunny days, warm friendly locals, and crisp cuddle-worthy nights all added up to our little slice of heaven that we'd like to share with YOU!
What makes this property unique
Let's face it, we were attracted to the ability to walk to the ski lift from our condo. Once summer came we realized the proximity to Crested Butte Mountain Resort base village was of similar benefit in the summer. We walk over to the lifts that carry our mountain bikes uphill and our visitors on sightseeing adventures. Terrific walking trails are right out back as well. A Robert Trent Jones designed golf course is nearby as are Ziplines, horseback rides, white-water rafting, rock climbing, orienteering, and much more.
I must confess that I hate driving and having to search for a parking spot. And when on vacation I don't want to have to worry about drinking and driving which is why we love the free shuttle bus that runs year-round from our front door to downtown CB. Even though it's only 2 miles I enjoy not having to drive. CB is unique in that you really don't need a car. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes (in winter) and goes everywhere you NEED to go. Coming from Dallas where were drive EVERYWHERE, this is a treat!
And, Not to put too fine a point on it but this is different than any other mountain town I've been to, in that the locals and tourists coexist on the same plane and actually seem to enjoy each others company without indifference or resentment. It could just be the weed but in any case, it's very refreshing.
