Currently residing in Tulsa, OK, we are an active family with two daughters. We love spending weekends and holidays at the Lodge with family and friends every chance we get! We have watched our girls grow up swimming in the lake, exploring nature trails, and bringing in every creature and critter they've managed to catch! Why Jackie Roberts chose Seminole County

Opened in 2007, let us tell you why we chose to build this place of peace in the country ... For many years in the early 2000's we were on the road working disaster relief for hurricanes and storms. We were rebuilding what nature took away. For those years we were extremely busy - working full time, running our company, managing employees, and raising our 2 small daughters. We worked incredibly long hours, many times 7 days a week, and the pressures of exhaustion and stress took its toll. Each year my husband was able to squeeze away for a weekend to hunt for 3 days at an outfitters lodge. Hunting is his refuge, his sanctuary, the thing he does to get away from it all and REJUVINATE. If not for those outfitters, he would have had 3 years with no hunting - and those weekends were priceless refuges of stress relief that were desperately needed due to the incredible work load we were managing at the time. Because of the outfitter, our family had time away from home to reconnect in beautiful surroundings, husband got to hunt, and we all got to experience the joy of relaxing in nature with a much-needed 'get away from it all' weekend that was a necessity to push through the rest of the work year. So while at the last outfitters we visited, we decided that we wanted to build one of these stress-busting retreats for others to enjoy as well ... and as a result we created this place of relaxation and peace in the woods. We want everyone to have an opportunity to take some time away with family and friends ... to reconnect, relax, de-stress, rejuvenate and to simply have a good time! We have an amazing property with breath-taking views inside and out that causes you to ENJOY NATURE ... and ENJOY LIFE. Welcome to Roberts Retreat ... our 'Lodge'.

We have found that the morning sunrises and evening sunsets over the lake are exquisite! This property truly is a HIDEAWAY. It offers peace and privacy like very few other places offer. We've tried to think of amenities we could provide that would make one's stay for any occasion a time you'll always remember ... and keep you longing to return!
