This is a gorgeous and hyper unique property is located in the hottest neighborhood in Chicago. It is equipped with a world class kitchen, enormous skylight, rooftop deck, and just blocks away from some of the best restaurants and bars in the city.
"Wow" is the standard response to all who visit. Tours, pre book are always welcome.
We were a group of 11, and found that the space was clean, functional, ideal for entertaining, and very convenient to Chicago's main attractions. We really enjoyed the main room, with incredibly high ceilings and interesting interior architecture. Top of the line sound system. Owner and property manager were very responsive and willing to help with any of our needs or desires. If you stay here, I would also encourage you to make use of the extremely interesting and outdoor spaces the loft has to offer. I especially would like to point out that the bathrooms were clean, renovated, and spacious. Finally, we enjoyed walking around Armitage and Logan Square and find it to be a real up and coming attraction. Definitely would recommend giving this unique place a try!
I rented this space out for a corporate training and had the participants also stay there. It was a beautiful space, with plenty of room. Anna and John were very responsive to all our needs and also accommodating. I was able to tour the space prior to make sure it suit our needs and get in early to set up before my party got there.
It is right along a bus line and walking distance to the El and also Bucktown and Wicker Park restaurants, shops and the 606.
The only thing that we would have changed is adding another full bathroom. The place has two and a half bathrooms, we had 12 people staying at the place, and only two showers made for a tricky morning for some. Other than that, the roof deck, the outside patio, impressive kitchen (we hired a chef one night to cook for us), were all desirable qualities for any type of corporate entertaining.
I stayed here to host a bachelor weekend and take in all the city has to offer. The place is large which was great for the group, plenty of bedding and towels were provided. Having two patios (one used for smoking) was really nice for the summer evenings and the location was only two blocks from Walgreens and 4 blocks from the train. Close to breweries and eateries a like, the Cubanos across the street are fantastic. John and Anna were available via text and prompt to respond. We would certainly stay again, the AC kept the place comfortable even in the 90degree heat :)
Came here for a long "boys" weekend, and it was perfect. The owner was very responsive throughout the weekend. Great location, El train just down the street, awesome Cuban cafe across the street. Plenty of beds, but don't expect a lot of private rooms. It's a funky space. The kitchen is first rate. The rooftop deck is great on a nice day. We were in town to see Chicago, but we could have spent the whole time in the loft and still had a great time. Plus: DISCO BALL!
Let's start with the disco ball - it's real. We rented the space as a corporate group in town for 2.5 weeks. The space was very large and had enough beds for 9 of us to sleep comfortably. The location was great too - quiet neighborhood and not too far from Damen shopping and restaurants.
The only issue we had on site was one of the skylights leaked but John had someone out in less than 24 hours to fix it and it didn't cause us any other issues.
John and Anna were so accommodating and wonderful to work with. I would definitely recommend this space to anyone!
If I could leave another star I would! John and Anna were so accommodating and easy to deal with, they made our 1st time in Chicago easier for us. They made recommendations for places to go, pointed us to the stores we needed for food and drinks and were accessible throughout our time there to answer any questions we had. I rented this space for a bachelor party and needed enough room for 15 people and there was more than enough. I didn't want anyone sharing a bed or sleeping on a couch so John and Anna made sure we had enough air mattresses set up for everyone. The loft was clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed. The sonos system and disco ball were pretty cool and the kitchen was incredible. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great unique place to stay while visiting Chicago. I cannot thank them enough!
