A sweet hideaway in luscious gardens

  • 5 of 5

Spent a month in this creative gypsy caravan with everything I needed located smack in the heart of Ajijic; close to shops, restaurants and the beautiful Ajijic malecon. Cathy is a wonderful hostess and guide for first timers. Highly recommended.

The Secret Garden

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing two weeks in Cathy's Gypsy Caravan. We had everything we needed and the accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. It is close to all the amenities Ajijic has to offer but removed from the hustle and bustle of the street set back behind a gate in a beautiful garden. Cathy was extremely hospitable and helpful. We highly recommend her and her beautiful caravan. Annie and Bruce C. Toronto, Canada

Amazing paradise

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for "Shangrila" , this is it. In the center of a lot of vegetation, in the center, walking distance to Lake Chapala and restaurants. The accommodations were super, King bed, all your comforts and Cathy (owner ) is a jewel. Her hospitality during our 10 day stay was mega pleasant.Very secure property and close to bus transport. Also very quiet. Most highly recommended.

Amazing Tropical Paradise

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place we chose! The pictures didn't do the "caravan" justice! We loved all the wood in the caravan and the seclusion (although the owner lived on the property practically within shouting distance!) all around. Everything we needed was included ... if it wasn't in the caravan, Cathy got it for us. And the cats really made us feel at home. The only complaint (had we made any!) would have been the water pressure (or lack thereof!) but that's Mexico!!! We were centrally located to EVERYTHING and could scoot "home" for a siesta after having lunch. We plan on going back hopefully in February but Cathy is already booked! We almost want to change OUR dates to be able to stay there again! I'd recommend this stay to anyone who wanted a quiet get away! And can't say enough about how accommodating Cathy is!

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful place to stay for a few days and I was so happy with everything. The caravan is private, quiet and charming. Cathy was very warm and helpful. The town itself was perfect for a few days of peaceful living. I highly recommend Cathy, the caravan and Ajijic.

Great place in Ajijic!

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful stay. Cathy was very welcoming and gave us great information on what to do and how to get around to places in the area. Very charming and comfortable place. It was a tropical paradise. A wonderful place to have quiet time and everything is close within walking distance. Very quiet nights for Mexico. The cats were very welcoming as well. Would stay again. Highly recommended.
