Premium surroundings, the apartment furnishings are superb, amenities are well thought out right down to the vegetable peeler, bakeware, cutlery and linens. You have the tools to bake a pie, a cake or make a roast for dinner or blend a smoothie.
At the foothills of Burke Mountain, near David Avenue and Coast Meridian Road, 3 minute walk to the bus stop and set back from the noise but near all major highways.
The apartment is an upscale, clean, & soothing space. Nothing has been thrown together here. Its a home away from home with added touches.
Private entrance, which backs onto a large property, you can hear birds chirping from the private patio or open windows. The kitchen boasts new appliances, granite countertops, large chef's sink, prepare meals or snacks in the beautiful kitchen. Includes coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, full stove & oven, fridge, dishwasher, down to the details on cooking utensils. The kitchen is modern, with a chef's sink, sprayer and dishwasher.
Sleep in really comfortable beds, relax in the cozy living room, in front of the fireplace, enjoy cable tv & high speed wifi.
The suite contains a Queen pillow top bed in the master, new comfortable single in the second bedroom and the optional second single bed is a fold-away bed, which has a thick, clean & new mattress, also comfortable and most suitable for a small adult or child.
For convenience and additional rental fee we have available a new Graco Pack & Play Playpen which was purchased for the suite (July 2016). We provide one fitted sheet to keep the pad clean, bring your own linens & blankets for baby. The playpen is only for in-suite use, no removal from the apartment is permitted for sanitary reasons. $35.00 per week for use of the playpen. If you wish to rent please let us know when making the reservation.
Sheets & towels are good quality, pillows are comfortable & clean. Take advantage of having an in suite washing machine & dryer, drying rack and area outside if you want to hang clothes, iron and ironing board.
The furniture is new and was bought for the suite.
The unit is secure with a monitored alarm, the best security system and added features of keyless entry.
We are close to both the urban and rural activities that Greater Vancouver has to offer. North Coquitlam is in between Vancouver and Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows. You can enjoy the Vancouver night life, fine dining and outdoor activities of Stanley Park, the North Shore - Grouse Mountain, Hollyburn Mountain & Capilano Suspension Bridge; or the Golden Ears Mountains, Pitt Lake - rent a bike or canoe & enjoy the sights, see osprey nesting along the dyke, go wild berry picking, swim in the ocean or get an ice cream at Harrison Hot Springs. You get our small town country feel with the big city access, all in one place.
Transit is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop. The 188 and C38 buses serve our area.
One 8 minute bus ride will get you to Coquitlam station to take the bus to Braid Station and the skytrain line.

Impeccably clean & comfortable, pet & smoke free, new & well maintained, caring owners who take the extra step and are approachable when you need them.
Note that you need to let us know if you need the single bed in the second bedroom as otherwise it is locked off for a couple renting as this allows us to keep the rate for two people down.
New, quiet, very comfortable atmosphere & temperature, soothing colors & decor, clean & well decorated. A space to relax in.
My impressions of the suite is that it was lovely. It's very clean and the decor is very nicely decorated . The host's are great people, and are very accommodating. The neighborhood is pretty new in a nice area. I wouldn't hesitate on staying there on my next visit out west.
My kids are figure skaters, and so we rented this property for 3 weeks in August to allow them to train in Burnaby. It is the perfect place for busy travelers to rest away from the bustle of the city, but close enough to the large mall and great restaurants that you can shop and dine out easily. The beds are comfy, the space is clean and bright, the kitchen is handy and perfect for cooking simple healthy meals, and the community is lovely. We were kind of high maintenance guests - we needed to have my daughter's skating costume shipped to us, and customs levied a fee on the parcel - the owners of the home accepted the package, and paid the customs fee (we of course paid them back) which was really appreciated. When my daughter's skates were stolen out of my car in downtown Vancouver, the kindness of the owners really showed through. Kathryn even offered to loan her some figure skates of her own!! She also promptly sent me an email with ideas on places to call in case the skates were sold to local sport shops. We sadly had to cut the trip short since we were out of luck with the skates, but would not hesitate to rent this place again as our "home away from home" next time we come for training. Not only is it comfortable, but knowing that the owners are kind and thoughtful people who truly care about their guests made all the difference.
My family and I were expecting great things from the property and we were definitely not disappointed. We had just arrived to start our new lives in Canada and this was to be our home for 6 weeks, coming from overseas we had nothing apart from clothes with us but we didn't need anything because this suite has it all (and it really does!). Kathryn provided everything that you would need to start living in the suite which meant we didn't have to stress about the little things to start with. The suite is incredibly clean, tidy and spacious and most importantly it is very light for a basement suite. The kitchen appliances are great quality and well maintained, the beds are very comfortable and the garden was large (a bonus for us with a young child). Kathryn couldn't have been a nicer host, she helped us settle into our new lives and was there if and when we needed her. There are plenty of amenities near by and the large mall is a short drive. I would highly recommend this suite and the hosts to all.
The place was spacious and clean with modern amenities close by as advertised. Owners were very helpful and we would definitely recommend to anyone. Enjoyed close access to the Port Coquitlam mall and many other shopping areas as well as many fine restaurants, bakeries, delis, etc... San Remos has wonderful food.
The place is in a wonderful and quiet area. Location is close to any point of interest in the Vancouver area. The apartment is well equipped to cook excellent meals. We will book this place again next year without a doubt! Thanks for a wonderful place to stay while visiting our family.
What a very nice accommodation. Really nice, new, and clean. For us and our kids it was a great spot to have a nice breakfast in the morning before going out and enjoying our time in the Vancouver metropolitan area. The hosts are most gracious and pleasant, and we would recommend this to anyone who wants more than reasonable lodging arrangements in and around Vancouver. A treat! We would go again in a second.
