A great place to stay in Traverse City. Close to downtown and great options to choose on property.

  • 5 of 5

This location was chosen for a family celebration of my parents’ 50th anniversary and my mother’s 70th birthday. This was an area they frequented a children. It was a priority to have a place large enough to accommodate the size of our family and this building did that. The finishes were great and the options for breakfast and dinner were great while being close to downtown TC and the marina. We greatly enjoyed being able to take day trips to the local wineries, Charlevoix, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island. It was a packed week of fun and all had great, memorable experiences. Thanks for making the entry easy and our trip memorable with such a well cared for property. We are glad we could stay in such a historic location and we’d encourage anyone to stay at this location with a larger group.

Fantastic stay in Traverse City at the Kirkbride Suite

  • 5 of 5

Spent Christmas week with family in the fantastic Kirkbride suite located on the grounds of the Village of Grand Traverse Commons. The suite is very well laid out and is perfect for large families. Everything is first class. This is our second time renting this suite and it will not be our last. Within a short stroll there are restaurants, bakeries, coffee roasters, wineries and plenty of indoor shops. And you are only a quick drive from downtown Traverse City and the surrounding country side. The property manager was excellent to deal with and were very accommodating.

Perfect for any group!

  • 5 of 5

Exactly as pictured. Meg was a great host! She was there to check us in and gave us plenty of ideas and contact info for what to do in town during our stay. Easy parking, private residence, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and complete bathroom amenities! During our stay, a smoke detector indicated low battery. They do regular maintenance to avoid this issue, but nonetheless, Meg was available on a holiday night via text and they sent help to fix the detector immediately.

The Perfect Spot in Traverse City!

  • 5 of 5

This place is perfect! It's a lot bigger in person and slept all 10 of us comfortably. Everything was modern and clean. The grounds are clean and there's tons of food and shopping close and even in the same building. The person checking us in, Megan, was super helpful and knowledgeable about TC...she gave us some good suggestions for dining/entertainment. If you are in TC and need a great place for up to 10 people, you have to stay here. You won't regret it!

Traverse City is a four-season playground for anyone who loves the Great Outdoors and Great Dining -- and autumn only sharpens its beauty, adding color to the forests and spice to the air. It's perfect weather for a stroll on the beach, a shopping adventure, a round of championship golf, or a tour of the beautiful wine country on the nearby Old Mission and Leelanau peninsulas. And when the winter snows begin to drift across this glacier-carved landscape, the entire region becomes a sparkling white playground for skiers, snowmobilers and snowshoe hikers.

There are 180 miles of beaches where you can wander as far as you like…romantic lighthouses and picturesque lakeside villages…glacier-sculpted hillsides covered with splendid forests and dotted with lush orchards and more than 20 acclaimed wineries…world-class golf courses home to innovative regional cuisine ....and a pedestrian-friendly downtown with over 150 boutiques, galleries and restaurants. It’s the perfect setting for a romantic getaway, a shopping adventure, or an unforgettable family vacation.
