Newly remodeled home featuring 3 bedrooms, (King, Queen and Twin beds) 2 full baths, kitchen, Living room/fireplace, and downstairs recreation room containing pool table, darts and TV. Lots of parking, minutes from downtown, and nothing across the street but a view you can enjoy from the 500 sq/ft of patios and decks! Please no smoking. Very quiet neighborhood except during a few certain summer weekends when the nearby drag strip has an event.

Jim Bachman purchased this house in 1967
We had a great weekend in Walla Walla and the house was everything we needed it to be. The house was clean, aside from an occasional box elder bug here and there, and overall, everything was very great. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the we loved the little notes Jim has around the house. Very entertaining! We will definitely be looking to re-book on our next trip through.
The property is 50's chic. Great front patios. A few minutes drive from town. MAYBE could use a few more kitchen cooking items for those who stay in & cook their own meals. Jim is a great host & saw to any needs or questions we had.
We were in Walla Walla for a family reunion. Only needed a one night stay and Jim's place was one of the only "one night" stay locations I found and fit the bill. Upon arrival the lights and TV were on and it felt like coming into your own house. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with any utensils you need to cook whatever food you bring in. Coffee was there and there was a few different methods to make it to accommodate whatever your taste is. The retro items throughout the house were a very cool touch which allowed us explain to our kids that these were the items used before your iPhones did everything! Console TV with speakers and an old transistor radio in another room really impressed the kids.
Everyone loved the darts and pool table downstairs and the extra full bath down there was super nice when a family of 6 is getting ready at the same time.
Super quiet neighborhood and it's only blocks away from grocery, fast food and coffee shops. Jim was easy to reach all the time by text and super helpful. Highly recommended! Will definitely stay there again next time.
Jim was a wonderful host! At one point we wondered if there was a deck of cards in the house and he responded by text within 2 minutes to say "No, but I will go to the store and get a deck." We told him that we would get them and donate them to the house. Jim has a great sense of humor - which we definitely appreciated... just take a look at the doors on the closed rooms downstairs. The house was very comfortable and we loved having the pool table and dart board - we all played well into the wee hours of the morning.
The house is from the 1940's and we enjoyed the retro decor. The bed in the master was very soft and the 2nd bedroom with the queen bed was quite a bit more firm. The shower's were great - all 4 of us showered within an hour of each other and no one got a cold shower! Overall, a great experience...we will be back!
Thanks for an amazing experience Jim!
Jim's place was a great stopover. Clean, well stocked with everything you may need and he made the check in process easy and straightforward. Lots of beds and a great rec room. Would stay again.
Such a wonderful, spacious, and clean property with thoughtful touches everywhere. Jim is an excellent host, responds promptly to everything, and is extremely considerate. Highly recommended.
Large park with view, perfect for picnics, only a block away.
