About the property

Come Stay At Beautiful Yachtsman Resort In Hyannis.

This well maintained unit at The Yachtsman will sleep up to 8 individuals. The unit has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The bedrooms are furnished with a king bed, a queen, two twins and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The unit has five levels of living space that includes a full kitchen and dining area. There are two outdoor spaces. The main feature/highlight of the unit is an outdoor deck that overlooks both Nantucket Sound and Lewis Bay. It is a great place to start the day with your favorite cup of coffee and to end the day with a great bottle of wine. Unfortunately, we need to let you know up front that there is only one assigned parking space available. If you have ever been to the cape you know that parking is an issue.

About William Donohue

My family is now into it's 6th generation (I've got a feeling the 7th isn't too far off) in New England. We were all raised, educated and bred to the culture in the area. For the last 20 years I've lived in Denver, CO., but I couldn't rid myself of the roots I established in Massachusetts so I decided to buy my unit at The Yachtsman back in 2008. My immediate family still surrounds the area. My brother and niece live about a mile away. My nephew is in college at UMass in Dartmouth and my mother and stepfather live just outside of Providence on the Mass side. I will always have a leg planted in New England but I pride myself in living in two of the most beautiful places in this great country.

William Donohue purchased this townhome in 2008

Why William Donohue chose Cape Cod

Hyannis makes traveling the Cape easy. Whether heading out to P-town or into Boston you are centrally located. When my family and I travel to our escape in Hyannis we really appreciate the fact that we can walk to just about anything we want to do. We've got great beaches, restaurants, the ferry, and Main Street in Hyannis. All can be reached by the soles of our feet (literally, no better way to do it than barefoot).

What makes this townhome unique

Water, water and more water. My unit at the Yachtsman is surrounded by water on three sides. If that is not enough then join us at the pool which is private to anyone staying at the resort. Upgrades are plentiful and maintenance is impeccable at The Yachtsman. The local fauna/flora is beautifully kept and there is a bird conservation area right out behind the patio off the dining room.

Perfect location and CLEAN!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first visit to Cape Cod - and will certainly not be the last! The condo was centrally located to so many spots. Having a private beach was a highlight. No crowds to contend with and first dibs at beach combing! The condo was very nicely decorated and very clean. We are quite particular about cleanliness and found it spotless. The feature we used most was the upper balcony - what a view! The manager, Mary, was readily available and very friendly and helpful. A wonderful spot to either tour the Cape - or just relax.

Location, location, location.....

  • 5 of 5

Having spent our honeymoon on the Cape (MV) 6 years ago we were really excited to return and share the experience with our two boys. We couldn't have picked a better house or location to do that. The townhouse was spectacular and had everything we needed for a great week on the Cape!! Easy access to both the beach and pool gave us nice options depending on our mood that day. Also with 4 floors everybody had plenty of space for reading, iPad gaming or a quite afternoon siesta! We took advantage of the short walk to the fast ferry and ended up spending the entire day on Martha's Vineyard and watched the solar eclipse from a outdoor restaurant. My favorite part of the house was the deck off of the 4th floor which provided an ideal setting for capping off a full day of shopping or whale watching (which was amazing) or even a lazy day at the beach....

There are plenty of neat shops and great restaurants near by (Alberto's was our favorite) and we even took advantage of the grill provided for a cookout one night.

Mary could not have been nicer or more helpful in making our return back to the cape so enjoyable!!! I think we will be back sooner than 6 years next time..... Thanks Mary

Great family getaway

  • 5 of 5

The owner is very nice and accommodating. The place is comfortable, quite and close to the beach. Great place to go with small kids since the beach is secluded from the open ocean waves. Looking forward to another trip!

The interior of this lovely home was a joy for our week in the cape. Plenty of room for our family of six to spread out.

Fantastic cape vacation!!!

  • 5 of 5

We have been coming to the cape for the last eight years and have been in all different areas. At first I was a bit skeptical about staying in Hyannis with it being so busy and "commercialized". My fears stopped as soon as I stepped foot on this property. The condo is in immaculate condition and all of the amenities are top notch. We have had water access before but this property has spectacular water views, pool access and a beautiful beach access all within walking distance. For the first time ever we did not feel a need to do multiple day trips and instead stayed mostly on property and within close distance. I cannot say enough about the beach access and the views of watching the ferries and boats coming in out of the harbor.

I have used this website for every rental in the past and have some times wondered if the review is truly accurate. I feel that sometimes my expectations can be too high but with this property my expectations were matched at every point. I already miss the morning walk to the beach! The interior of the condo has everything you need including dishwasher and laundry. The air conditioning units were a welcome bonus on hot days. The roof top deck was heaven.

It is a nice walk into the harbor area to access restaurants and a little bit longer to walk into town. The walk to the harbor is nice as it saves money for parking. I highly recommend spanky's for the lobster roll and chowder as I feel it is one of the best I've had through the cape! I cannot say enough enough about this property and the level of relaxation I had for my vacation and have already made plans to return next year!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 7/22-7/29. The condo is very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was nice to be able to walk to the ferry or Main Street The beach was very nice and not crowded. Special thanks to Mary for finding a place we could park an extra car. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definiteky stay here again.
