About the property

Come Stay At Beautiful Yachtsman Resort In Hyannis.

This well maintained unit at The Yachtsman will sleep up to 8 individuals. The unit has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The bedrooms are furnished with a king bed, a queen, two twins and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The unit has five levels of living space that includes a full kitchen and dining area. There are two outdoor spaces. The main feature/highlight of the unit is an outdoor deck that overlooks both Nantucket Sound and Lewis Bay. It is a great place to start the day with your favorite cup of coffee and to end the day with a great bottle of wine. Unfortunately, we need to let you know up front that there is only one assigned parking space available. If you have ever been to the cape you know that parking is an issue.

About William Donohue

My family is now into it's 6th generation (I've got a feeling the 7th isn't too far off) in New England. We were all raised, educated and bred to the culture in the area. For the last 20 years I've lived in Denver, CO., but I couldn't rid myself of the roots I established in Massachusetts so I decided to buy my unit at The Yachtsman back in 2008. My immediate family still surrounds the area. My brother and niece live about a mile away. My nephew is in college at UMass in Dartmouth and my mother and stepfather live just outside of Providence on the Mass side. I will always have a leg planted in New England but I pride myself in living in two of the most beautiful places in this great country.

William Donohue purchased this townhome in 2008

Why William Donohue chose Cape Cod

Hyannis makes traveling the Cape easy. Whether heading out to P-town or into Boston you are centrally located. When my family and I travel to our escape in Hyannis we really appreciate the fact that we can walk to just about anything we want to do. We've got great beaches, restaurants, the ferry, and Main Street in Hyannis. All can be reached by the soles of our feet (literally, no better way to do it than barefoot).

What makes this townhome unique

Water, water and more water. My unit at the Yachtsman is surrounded by water on three sides. If that is not enough then join us at the pool which is private to anyone staying at the resort. Upgrades are plentiful and maintenance is impeccable at The Yachtsman. The local fauna/flora is beautifully kept and there is a bird conservation area right out behind the patio off the dining room.

Amazing place to stay and relax

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful property. Loved the outside deck overlooking the marsh and harbor. Very convenient to the ferry or great restaurants. Great to have the full kitchen to cook breakfast and plenty of space for everyone. Mary has always been amazing and will do anything to make your stay that much better. Would definitely recommend staying here. We look forward to coming back soon.

We had a very nice time visiting Cape Cod and staying in this property!

  • 4 of 5

Mary is great at communicating and made things easy to rent this property. She returns texts and emails promptly and the property was neat and clean.

The property is multi level which is nice for everyone to have their own space. The rooms are very spacious and we had more then enough room for our family of 4. There was a drain problem with the downstairs tub but it was promptly addressed.

The week we were at the Cape it was unseasonably cool and rainy but still lots to see and do. I hope to go back and get in the whale watching. I really wanted to do this but the weather never cooperated. Maybe next time!

Excellent Choice!

  • 5 of 5

Excellent location and such a comfortable condo. Mary is a very accommodating host. Master bed is sooo comfy! Well stocked with everything you need. If you don't like stairs this isn't the condo for you, but that is clearly stated upfront. Close to all things Cape Cod, especially the ferries to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard. We would return anytime!!!

Perfect week in Hyannis!

  • 5 of 5

The location is great, the place is awsome. We are a family of 5 and the place suited our needs perfectly.

Short walk to the private beach and the pool area. Our kids loved the beach and stayed in the warm water most of the time.

The place was clean when we arrived, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys were supplied, they even supplied beach towels and linnens. Thanks to the owner, Mary who was very attentive and solution orientated when it came to booking, setting up credit card payment on our request and follow-up if we had any questions or concerns. She also left behind tons of brochures and tips for restaurants and nearby attractions.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect location with lots of amenities!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5, with 3 kids ranging from 21 to 4, had a wonderful time. We were worried about our youngest sleeping in a bedroom that was on a different floor than us, but it was never an issue. Actually, having each bedroom on a different floor was wonderful because we actually had some privacy! Having the beach so close was amazing. We also loved being able to walk everywhere from the harbor to Main Street. It was wonderful being able to walk to the boats as well as out to dinner. The pool was a great addition. Overall, a wonderful trip. Our oldest loved the shopping, our one in the middle loved the deep sea fishing, while the youngest loved the pirate ship and attending a play at the community theatre. Everyone loved the beach! Thank you for sharing your condo with us! Mary made everything easy from beginning to end!

Amazing Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

My family and I spent a week enjoying the Cape just after Labor Day (perfect time to visit btw, most of the tourists are gone), and it was unanimously the best vacation we have had in 30+ years. The townhome was perfect... fantastic location for day trips to ACK/MV/Provincetown/Newport/etc; well laid out floor plan with plenty of space; comfortable; all the necessary amenities (it even had crab crackers in the kitchen:) ; beautiful balcony views; wonderful private beach; and the complex was very quiet which made for a relaxing and fun getaway from city life. The owner was also very sweet and helpful in our planning process. We would definitely recommend this rental if you are looking for a great central location, close to downtown Hyannis and the ferries, to spend a week enjoying the Cape with your friends and/or family. Thanks for helping me make our 2015 annual family vacation one for the record books!!!
