Spacious Italian villa (made of "trullo" cones), fully renovated with all comforts, immersed in centuries-old olive tree grove. Fresh during summer (also air conditioning), comfortable in other seasons, with in-floor heating. Rentable weekly/monthly (check price drop). Sea view. The property is just 4 km from the magnificent Ostuni or from amazing beaches.
Typical country villa (made of “trulli”) very fresh in the summer (with air conditioning also available). A trullo (trulli – plural) is a unique, traditional Apulian dry stone construction with a distinctive conical roof dating from the 1500s. Trulli have thick stone walls, keeping them cool during the summer months and warm during the cooler seasons. The villa can be used even in the winter, having a great heating system (in-floor).
There are four dedicated bedrooms: (i) one with 1 queen-size bed; (ii) one with 1 queen-size sofa-bed; (iii) one with bunkbed (for 2 people); (iv) one with 2 single beds (which can be linked to obtain a queen-size bed). There is an additional sofa-bed in the living room . Then, there are two living rooms, two bathrooms, and two kitchens: one inside, the other outside (also all furnished and roofed). There is also parking for 3 cars (under roof) and additional cars.
All day could be spent outside as an option, in the spacious patio or in the fields that we also own (olive trees, organic production), where there is always a constant breeze. Some guests will spend the evenings watching stars on top of the roof, which is accessible with stairs.
The seaside is also amazing, approximately 4 km away. The villa is near the Protected Area of Torre Guaceto and an hour away from Lecce, Martina Franca and all the other most interesting cities in Puglia, where baroque architecture thrives. The nearest town, also 4 km away, is Ostuni: the spectacular “white city” (“citta’ bianca”), of middle-eastern feel. On a tree near the house there is a roomy treehouse for the kids.
We encourage using energy responsibly, for example heating, hot water and air conditioning. The National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) determined that Italian families (5 members or more) spend a max of 5.75 Euros per day for energy.
It is fundamental to use energy conservatively also for its environmental impacts. In case energy use incurred at the Villa significantly exceeds the costs indicated above, part of the Security Deposit will be used to compensate.
Our guests will enjoy the peace of the Southern Italian countryside, as neighbours are neither visible nor audible. Guest have access to the whole villa and extensive property –see photos. The additional kitchen outside has all features; its substantial, marble table always becomes a favourite spot for eating and socializing.
The villa is in the countryside, but not far from the magnificent “white-town” of Ostuni (4km). Try to imagine: centuries-old olive trees, almond trees, tiny country roads with traditional white dry walls at the sides. The seaside is wonderful for swimming and also at 4 km (visible from the villa).
