Tolles FeriendomizilWir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Wonderful stay

Our family loved our stay. Fabio & his family were very understanding when our flight delayed 3 hrs & we arrived in late evening. Beautiful setting in a hamlet with a beautiful view. Had great recommendations for restaurants & what towns to visit. I don't normally write reviews but this stay was worth it.

Entspannung PUR

Wir haben zu viert einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub verbracht. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und die Betten sehr komfortabel. Den großzügigen Pool erreichte man durch einen kurzen Gang durch den Garten und die große Veranda lud zum Verweilen ein. Die Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit und nett, zeigten uns Orte und Restaurants, welche wir besuchen sollten. Auch von ihrem fantastischen Wein und Olivenöl durften wir probieren. Wir hatten einen wirklich entspannten Urlaub bei Urzula und Fabio

Entspanntes Urlauben in Stadtnähe

Wir reisten mit vier Erwachsenen an und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft entspricht voll der Beschreibung. Auch die eingestellten Bilder entsprechen der Realität. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und die Einrichtung war vollständig und zweckmäßig. Der Vermieter Fabio ist ein sehr netter älterer Herr, der uns jeder Zeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand und uns auf Wunsch zu diversen Sehenswürdigkeiten begleitet hat. Die Parkmöglichkeiten am Fort von Siena sind in ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Von dort aus ist es nur ein kurzer Fußmarsch in die Innenstadt. Im Umkreis von 50 km gibt es viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, die einen Besuch wert sind. Eine Fahrt ans Meer dauert ca. 1 1/2 Stunden. Alles in Allem ein sehr gelungener Urlaub.

The property was beautiful and the apartment was very cozy and the bedrooms were large and well layed out. It was great that each of the two couples had their own washroom. We were able to cook meals very easily, the kitchen was well equipped. The outdoor terrace was lovely and the pool(although not really useable when we were there) was very nice. Our hosts were very gracious and always happy to help and/or suggest great places for us to see. Fabio also gave us the best suggested driving routes for where we were going. We loved this spot as it was a car ride to many beautiful places we wanted to see. We would highly recommend this rental.

Schöne Ferienwohnung, aber viele Mücken

Die Ferienwohnung hat ihre Stärken und Schwächen. Die Stärken: Sehr ruhige Lage und dennoch in 15 Min. in Siena, zudem in 1 Std. in Florenz, Arezzo, San Gimignano u.a. schönen Städten. Sympathische und hilfsbereite Vermieter, die auf dem Grundstück leben. Ferienwohnung ist gut geschnitten: Sehr schöner Hauptraum mit hoher Decke und großen Fenstern, gut ausgestatteter Küche, Sofa, großem Esstisch und viel Platz. Bequeme Betten. Schwächen: Der Pool liegt hinter dem Haus und umgeben von Hecken und Sträuchern. Daher immer Mücken, so dass wir nur baden, uns dort aber nicht länger aufhalten konnten. Wir sind seit vielen Jahren in der Toskana, das hatten wir aber so noch nie erlebt und hatten den früheren Rezensionen nicht geglaubt – hätten wir mal besser… Eines der Schlafzimmer ist sehr dunkel, da nur ein kleines Fenster, während das zweite Schlafzimmer ein echter Traum ist.

Tolle einzelne Ferienwohnung mit eigenem Pool. Gelungene Mischung zwischen dem "Alten" und "Modernen" für 4 Personen. Abseits vom Massentourismus. Liebevolles älteres Ehepaar steht mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung.

10 stars - lovely home in the Siena countryside

We had a wonderful stay at Urszula & Fabio’s place. They met us at checkin and made us feel very welcome. Excellent accommodations and outstanding hospitality - it felt like home away from home. Very comfortable bedrooms and well stocked kitchen. Location was ideal for Tuscany - easy access to Siena, Florence and other small towns. Hosts provided excellent recommendations for town to visit, local restaurants and other attractions. Pool was very refreshing too! We loved our time here and feel like Ursula and Fabio treated us like family - we will miss them.

A rustic, yet modern oasis

My family and I stayed here for three nights while touring the Tuscan countryside. We were looking for something rustic, almost old world, but with modern amenities. We found it here. The kitchen has elements of a kitchen from decades or centuries ago, but modern appliances on which to prepare food. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very modern, luxurious and the perfect contradiction to the kitchen area. We were able to experience life in the country but with modern amenities. The property is located about 20 minutes outside of Siena which made it a perfect launch spot to visit surrounding areas and cities. We loved our stay and Daniella was a perfect host.

Ein erholsamer Urlaub in wundervoller Umgebung

Es waren 2 schöne Wochen in Sovicille.Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen.Alles Sehenswerte war in weniger als einer Stunde zu erreichen. Es haben sich Erholung und Sightseeing ergänzt.Die Unterkunft war hervorragend, sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet.Vielen Dank an Ursula und Fabio! Auch Muffin hat es sehr gut gefallen und fand den Ausflug nach Siena mit Ursula zum Palio sehr aufregend 😀.Einen herzlichen Gruß und alles Liebe.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in der Toskana

Wir waren zwei Wochen in der sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung, die nur etwa 10 km von Sienna entfernt in einem kleinen Dorf liegt. Alles war super sauber und bei unserer Anreise bestens vorbereitet. Urzula und Fabio waren sehr wunderbare Vermieter und sind liebevolle Menschen, die uns unseren Urlaub haben sehr genießen lassen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Pool und die dazugehörige Terrasse waren echt klasse und eine wunderbare Erfrischung bei den zeitweise sehr hohen Sommertemperaturen. Lieben Dank an unsere Vermieter für alles! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Amazing vacation

We chose this beautiful property based on the pictures and reviews, and we were pleasantly surprised to find everything even more spectacular than we anticipated. Our hosts could not have been more gracious, the house is beautiful, an amazing mix of ancient and modern. Architecturally, this home has been designed with cate and quality details at every turn. The pool was wonderful, we enjoyed it every day. I’m trying to reorganize my life so that I can live in Sovicille for a year.

Toskanagefühl - die Seele baumeln lassen!

Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderschön, im Obergeschoss zwei sehr geschmackvolle Schlafzimmer und luxuriöse Bäder. Beim Aufwachen der Blick in die Baumkronen, in der Nacht in den Sternenhimmel oder ins Glitzern des Mondes in den Blättern der Magnolie, herrlich! Die große Wohnküche ist rustikaler, aber sehr gut ausgestattet, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, um selbst gut zu kochen. Die Waschmaschine ist super, eigentlich braucht man gar nicht so viel in den Koffer packen:-) Durch den vielseitigen Garten (Blauregen, Kiwis, Granatäpfel, Rosmarin, Lavendel, Wein, Zitronen und natürlich Oliven… und einiges, was mir nun schon gar nicht mehr einfällt, zu Fuß auf schmalen Wegen zum tollen Pool! Der Pool war sehr gepflegt, Schattenplätze auf der Terrasse oder unter den Oliven… wir haben es genossen. Komplett eingezäunt, so konnten wir auch unseren Hund mitnehmen, ohne ständig aufpassen zu müssen. Die Vermieter ziehen in Ihrem Garten Gemüse, so kamen wir in den Genuss von frischem Salat, und hervorragender Chianti Classico versüßte und die Abende. Das tolle Olivenöl aus eigener Herstellung hat uns überzeugt und auch davon sind ein paar Flaschen mit nach Hause gefahren. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, kein Straßenlärm, stattdessen Vögel (Mehlschwalben, Bachstelzen und Täubchen), Grillen und des Nachts Krötengesang. Daniela, Urzula und Flavio waren zu jeder Zeit zuvorkommend und freundlich, aber nie aufdringlich oder störend. Die Lage ist außerdem hervorragend für Ausflüge in all die Orte und Gegenden, die „man unbedingt gesehen haben muss“. Und wer nicht fahren will, bleibt einfach mal vor Ort und läuft direkt in den Wald. Wir wünschen uns sehr, dass diese Reise nicht die letzte zum Agriturismo St. Giusto gewesen ist.

Charming farm house attached to owner’s house

The farm house is gorgeous and located on beautiful lot of Tuscan land. The property is also a reasonable 20 minute cab from Siena. It was a bit more difficult getting a cab out so I would recommend renting a car and driving. There are also gorgeous wineries and amazing wine tastings in the area. The property manager even showed us around the farm, let us try some of the fruit, and brought us wine! The one downside of the place was the lack of privacy. The pool is shared, and on several occasions the property owner came to our door. On one occasion, he came inside using his set of keys, and one of my friends was in a towel as she just showered and obviously did not hear him knock. She was very startled and it was very upsetting for her. On another occasion, the owner showed up at our door yelling at us to be quiet because it was night time - we were just packing up our bags and cleaning up the kitchen. We were all so startled and again, not everyone was dressed decent.

Traumhaft schöne Unterkunft und sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber

Es war eine traumhafte Woche in einer liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Wie haben es sehr genossen. Zum einen die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit und zum Anderen die Nähe zu Siena. Die Eigentümer haben uns ihr tolles Öl und ihren biologischen Wein kosten lassen und waren zu jeder Zeit sehr hilfsbereit. Hier fahren wir bestimmt wieder hin.

This place is magic

You will not regret staying here. It is the epitome of the Italian countryside. The updates that these hosts have made to the space make you feel like you're living in luxury while still featuring classic villa architecture. Only ~20 mins from Siena by taxi this place gets you away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some peace. We are grateful to have stayed here and will stay again! Delicious chianti and olive oil right from the farmhouse are not to be missed. It's the perfect getaway with all the creature comforts.

Be clear about your room expectations

A friend and I were traveling through Italy and wanted to stay in an agraturisma outside of Siena for several days to explore Tuscany by car. The location of this rental property was good and it was authentic in appearance. The kitchen was lovely and functional ( except no coffee maker). The bathroom was recently remodeled and large. Be careful for the slippery shower floor. Our only concern was the property manager lists it as a two bedroom for the price we paid then told us just before the stay that we only needed one of the bedrooms since it was only two of us. When I pointed out that the listing is for two bedrooms, she said we would have to pay more if we want to use them both “just like a hotel “. She said she would set up twin beds in the bedroom so we agreed. But if you expect to use both bedrooms you will need to be clear about your expectations with the daughter, Daniela. The older couple who live on site were lovely and very helpful with suggestions for towns to see. The property is quiet and set in a beautiful location. It was easy to get to Siena and we saw Volterra, Massamaritima and Vetulonia during this trip.
