We stayed here for 4 days recently while touring France. It's a fairly basic, but cosy, wood cabin with a hugely effective burner that heats the whole place, and a shower with PLENTY of piping hot water. There is a BBQ whose grills need a clean, and a very basic oven. There's a toaster, crockery etc. We booked towels (10EUR pp) well in advance of our stay but they'd been forgotten, so we had to go for dinner after 12 hours travelling without a shower, not great. However, once I reminded the host over VRBO chat, they left some while we're at dinner.There's a weak mobile signal here, quite nice to get away from it all but there were a couple of times I needed Internet access and had to drive out of this area to get a strong enough signal. The main issue was on the last night, we were having dinner and the host came down and said we had to leave as it was already our last day, despite our checkout being the next morning! We ended up having to show him the date on our phones to prove we had one more night paid for. It was a genuine mistake by the host but it raised serious privacy concerns that the host can just come to the cabin unannounced like that and it's the main reason I'd not stay again, despite feeling comfy in the property itself. If you have a sports car check you can pass the track, which is a farm track. I have a GT4 and it was grounding out at times. This should probably be mentioned in the advert. Overall, a nice, but not perfect, stay.

Pretty and peaceful location

Lovely location if you want to get away from it all. Gorgeous Log cabin. Just go careful regarding the cleaning options. We stayed for a night two weekends running. When we arrived the first weekend the place was not that clean. It didn't bother me too much, especially as we were only staying around 12 hours en route. We left it cleaner than we found it. The following week when we came back on our return journey the owners visited us and very politely asked us to leave it cleaner this time, as they felt we had left it in a mess. I explained it was not clean when we arrived. They did not accept this. I suppose all I'm saying is that if you chose the option to clean the property yourself (instead of choosing their option of 40euro for a cleaner) make sure you take photographs/inventory of the condition when you arrive and if you think that anything is below standard bring it to the owners attention straight away or you could be blamed for it after your stay. Not a disaster, just marred the stay.

Lovely, peaceful location

Fabulous log cabins and lovely peaceful location if you want to get away from it all. Just go careful regarding the cleaning options. We stayed for one night en route elsewhere and the following weekend 2 nights on our way back to England. On our arrival the 1st time the place was not that clean. It didn't bother us too much, especially as we were only staying around 12 hours, we just cleaned up a bit before we left. We left it cleaner than we found it. On our 2nd stay the owners paid us a visit and very politely asked us to clean this time as last time we'd left it in a mess. I explained it was a mess when we arrived and we certainly left it cleaner than when we arrived. They did not accept this. Not a complete disaster but it marred the stay for me and left a bad taste in my mouth. I suppose all I'm saying is that if you choose the option to clean yourself, instead of paying their cleaner 40 euros, you need to do an inventory on arrival and make sure you go to the owners if it is not clean. Or take photographs when you arrive to prove how you found it/left it.

Un havre de paix

Cet hébergement à la campagne offre une expérience enchanteuse, éloignée du tumulte urbain. La quiétude des environs, associée à des installations confortables, crée un refuge idéal. La nature environnante et l'hospitalité chaleureuse du propriétaire font de cet endroit un véritable havre de paix pour se ressourcer.

Wer Stadttrubel sucht, muss weit fahren, mindestens 1.50 Std. Wer Ruhe, Natur, Kaltblüter, Schafe und einen sehr schönen, nie überfüllten Pool sucht-hier seid ihr richtig. Es gibt max. eine Familie in einer entfernten Blockhütte, sonst kommt kein Mensch vorbei und die Stille der Natur ist verblüffend-das Ohrensausen hört man wesentlich deutlicher als Geräusche der Umwelt. Zusätzlich für Kunstliebhaber ein sehr schöner Rundgang und ein emotional eingerichtetes Museum von Renoire. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Vacances en famille au val des vignes

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Val des Vignes, le calme, le paysage, la piscine, les animaux et leur propriétaires nous ont charmés. Les enfants ont profités des grands espaces autour du chalet en toute liberté (aucune voiture de passage) et les activités familiale à proximité entaient super. Nous le recommandons à nos amis et famille!

Lovely house, basic interior

Such a lovely house in quit surroundings. It’s a 5 minute walk to the pool. The interior and kitchen were basic but everything was there. There were a lot of flies in the house when we arrived, after killing them we closed the doors and windows and it was ok! Beds ok, nice view, surrounded by the horses and some sheep. We enjoyed our stay!

Wein wohin man schaut

Sehr idyllisch im Weinberg gelegen. Praktisch eingerichtetes Haus. Wir konnten super vorm Haus essen und grillen. Der große Pool neben dem Haus des Vermieters war die ganze Zeit nutzbar. Wandern, Sightseeing, Baden - wir haben uns prima erholt.

Schönes Häuschen, schöne Landschaft, toller Hof

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und haben es sehr genossen. Wer Luxus oder die absolute Reinheit erwartet ist hier falsch. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und gut aufgeteilt, die Landschaft und die Aussicht wundervoll. Die Sauna macht, mir ein wenig Arbeit vorweg, richtig Spaß. Der Hof mit den Tieren ist sehr schön. Unsere Kinder konnten sich völlig frei auf dem gesamten Gelände bewegen und hatten unglaublich viel Spaß. Alles sehr authentisch. Empfehlung!

Toller Kurzurlaub

Es waren herrliche Tage in dem Holzhaus. Es war alles da und die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Kinder fanden den Urlaub „der beste Urlaub der Welt“. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.
