We have taken a classic brick building from Saint Louis' Guilded Age, in its historic Soulard neighborhood, and filled it with all the comfort and convenience of today. in the hurried world of travel, where unavoidable delays collide with looming deadlines, this unique venue will come as a welcome surprise.

This neighborhood is enjoyed by easy walks to many wonderful restaurants and pubs.
Was searching for just the right place to visit family, explore St. Louis and have privacy in a charming setting. This was it. Hosts were great, location convenient and amenities perfect,
We loved this place, perfect location, perfect apartment and perfect hosts. If you want to be close to the city and all the attractions but be in a quiet neighborhood then this is the spot. You also get the bonus of being in walking distance of groceries, restaurants and the odd bar and pub. We highly recommend the apartment and hope to be back next year.
Couldn't have found a better place to stay, we loved it. Spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. The courtyard is a beautiful quiet oasis, and lovely area to enjoy a nice quiet drink. Kelly and Brett are wonderful hosts and made our stay enjoyable. It's great place to stay if you want to be close to the city and all it's attraction, lots of great restaurants with in easy walking distance, but still a nice quiet area to relax. We hope to see you again soon and we highly recommend this property x
I moved to St. Louis on Jan. 5 for a job and my company put me in a corporate housing apartment that was cold, uncomfortable and it had the single worst bed I have ever slept in. I was ready to run away but then I found Kelly and Brett's Soulard sanctuary and I lived happier ever after. Kelly is a perfect hostess. The apartment is squeaky clean, excellently decorated, warm and friendly, fully loadrd with every thing you need, and it had the best bed ever. If Kelly could have fitted a soaking or whirlpool tub into the place I may never have left. My husband came with me on the first visit to check it out and make sure he agreed with the choice since I would be staying alone while he packed in another state. He gave Kelly, Brett and the place 5 stars too. I do regret moving into my own apartment before I could use their back courtyard with its firepit and special lighting. The plants had just started to bloom and I know it will be beautiful. I stayed there for 2 months. I will recommend this place to everyone. I enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and they shared a wealth of information about restaurants and things to do. The Soulard market is fun even on cold days. Bogart's may have the best ribs I have ever tasted. There is a bar for every taste. Lots of good local restaurants. I was there for the pet parade and Mardi Grass. Close to downtown, where I work. Easy commute to everything. I will be back.
Gosh - where do I start? 5 stars for everything . I'd give 6 stars if I could.
We have stayed with Kelly and Brett twice now - once in the carriage house and once in the Asian Suite. In the beginning, our dates changed somewhat and Kelly worked with me on it. Throughout both visits she has been a most gracious host and very responsive to anything we needed.
We loved both units. There is privacy if you want it and community if you want that. All units have access to a beautiful courtyard with fire pit. I sat out there many mornings and my husband and I liked unwinding there at night. The units themselves were beautifully decorated and peaceful feeling and well kept. The kitchens were well equipped. Parking is on the street but we rarely had a problem finding a space. Soulard is a fascinating neighborhood with a lot of history (it's the oldest residential neighborhood in St. Louis) and great architecture.
Soulard Residence is within walking distance of several restaurants and the famous Soulard Farmer's Market. It's a quick drive to Forest Park (zoo, art museum, history museum), the arch and the baseball stadium. If you want to go to the county, the residence is close to highway 44 and 40. When we told Kelly and Brett, we wanted to see a game, they advised us to take one of the shuttle buses from a local bar. So easy....... :)
We visit St. Louis frequently and will definitely stay there again. It has become a second home.
I recently moved out of an apartment in the Central West End and was stuck in limbo for over seven weeks while I waited for construction on my new apartment building to be complete. I needed a fully furnished place because all my belongings were stored into a POD. I considered corporate housing, but it is exorbitantly expensive for a single gal not flush with corporate cash. An extended stay hotel was out of the question because it would be too small. A friend of mine suggested I look on VRBO, which was a new experience for me. Working in downtown STL, I was used to a short commute, so I wanted a place that was close. This listing immediately grabbed my attention. I reached out to Kelly who was extremely responsive and offered a very reasonable monthly rate for the Asian property. It is a very tastefully decorated and fully furnished unit that includes all the amenities a professional needs: Wifi, in-unit washer and dryer, and U-verse DVR. When I moved in, I was pleasantly surprised by how much of a community presence Kelly and Brett have. They have invested a lot in their properties and their pride of ownership shines through. They can often be seen outside in the beautiful courtyard playing with their dogs and chatting up neighbors. They made me feel so welcome during a fairly stressful and transient time. I highly recommend this property (and any other property Kelly and Brett manage) whether it's just one night on the town in historic Soulard or for an extended stay. Thanks to Kelly and Brett, those seven weeks in limbo were spent in a lovely space with lovely people!
