Please note, our wooden cottage prohibits fireworks to maintain its natural beauty. Additionally, access to the property requires a ramp and may pose challenges for guests with limited mobility.

Check Out: (Weekly stay) Following Saturday by 9:00am sharp, (Weekends, Holiday check-out) – before 2 pm. Extra guests and Visitors: Overcrowding is not allowed. Exceeding cottage maximum will result in the immediate eviction with no refund. The Extra Guests and Visitors must be pre-arranged and approved. You must contact us first to approve your additional guests and visitors and pay before inviting any visitors to join you during your stay. All visitors must be registered upon arrival. Double charges must be applied for staying unregistered and unpaid guests. The applicable fee(s): Day Only – $15 per person/per day Day + Overnight – $50 per person/per night Day visitors must leave premises by 9:00 pm Damage: All cottage and/or boat rentals require a security/damage deposit by Visa/MasterCard at check in. The leader of the group is responsible for the actual costs of any breakage or damage in or to the property – along with any additional costs that may result – which are caused by you and/or any members of your party. We can require payment from you to cover any such costs, and broken items will require a like for like replacement. Pets: Small pets are allowed but it is a subject of approval. The weekly charge for one small pet is $100 and $50 for weekend.

The cabins are cute, cozy and equipped with everything even ac that isnt advertised but a lovely surprise. The property has fire pits, a beach and the pool an amazing feature.

Too expensive for the services provided

The cottage was clean overall, and we had good relations with the owner. But the access of the dock for a 19 feet boat ( with extra fee) was difficult and there was no way to plug our electric motor. Too expensive for a small cottage with 2 double beds.

lovely friendly and helpful hosts

Nice resort. Great family feel. Exactly as pictured. I think a better name would be Sunset Shores as the evening views were simply breathtaking. Our cabin was perfect and our kids loved swimming in the pool. If I were to have done anything differentIy I would have communicated more with the hosts to know what we needed to bring with respect to household items but there was shopping within a 20 minute drive, as was a fantastic public beach with more swimming in a lake. Us grown ups loved the sauna! It would be nice to see how the new developments turn out. I'd recommend a small hot tub and a cool shower by the sauna to make for an even more relaxing spa experience. Nice and clean cottage with everything you needed for your stay.

Easy to rent, easy to get to and owners were very easy to deal with. 90 minutes from Toronto so ideal for a week or weekend on the lake.

Great area,the lake is beautiful,cottages are very clean and roomy,nice deck outback with a great view of the lake and beautiful sunsets,fire pits at every cottage and very courteous and friendly owners,we’ll definitely be back

Loved the cottage with deck Everything clean, immaculate.

Very nice property & cottage! The only detriment was the Lake very weedy for swimming as I like to take a long swim in the lake. Owners very nice & helpful. I would suggest they carry a pamphlet of a Map of the area to Peterborough for a evening out & good places to dine out & shopping near by!! Thanks Sherry

Great family time

This was not only our first time to this spot- but it was our first time using VRBO. We were not disappointed. The place was exactly as it appeared on the listing. The owners -were very friendly and on site as there are several cabins. The place was very relaxing and friendly atmosphere.
