We are long-time friends (2 couples, one from Canada and one from the UK), who met in Lisbon for a long weekend. The apartment was very clean, had all necessary amenities, and was well situated to shops and restaurants...as long as you don't mind stairs as you must do 75 either up or down, no matter which way you want to go, and the apartment itself is on the 3rd floor (more stairs). This was fine with us as we are fit and felt that this would help with all the extra holiday food and drink we were consuming, but it would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Then again, this entire region of old Lisbon is unsuitable for those with mobility concerns as there are steps everywhere once you move away from the flat port area.
Ines was very helpful and responsive and even allowed us an extra 2 hours on our departure day since nobody was checking in that day. She was an excellent host.
Only one minor issue we encountered is that one of the two bathrooms has a musty smell. It is not due to lack of cleanliness, as it was spotless, so there must be something hidden behind a wall or flooring. It was noticeable but did not detract from our visit.
Summary: this is a very nice apartment at a reasonable cost in a great part of Lisbon, as long as you can handle stairs. Cheers!
