Property description

Cute, clean and comfortable, this three bedroom, two bath house sits on a large corner lot on a quiet, sparsely trafficked street three blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. Just a two minute walk from public tennis courts and a boardwalk which meanders through the wetlands to Flagship Harbor boat launch, the area is also perfect for cycling, with an ocean-side bike path just a minute or two away. Tired of walking or cycling? Drive five minutes to Gamble-Rogers State Recreation area to launch your kayak -- or rent one.

'Ranch-style' on one level, this 1450 sq. ft. house is handicapped and senior accessible and we welcome trained pets which can frolic in the large, fenced rear yard. Leashed dogs are also welcome on the beach (north of N 10 St.)

The master bedroom features a queen bed, Smart TV with Netflix and ensuite with a shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the third has a full/double. The main bathroom has a tub/shower combination. A cot and queen sized inflatable mattress are available for larger families or visiting guests, increasing sleeping capacity to eight or nine in a pinch. The bright living area features a couch, recliner and chair and the dining room seats six.

Broadband WiFi and cable HDTV are included as are all linens and towels, dishes and cutlery for six. Two bicycles (with helmets) are in the garage for guest use. Parking is generous with a circular drive making unloading by the front door convenient and a large driveway and double garage makes parking large vehicles and/or trailers, a breeze.

Appliances include full sized refrigerator and stove/oven, microwave, washer and dryer. There is no dishwasher. Table and chairs and gas grill are set up on a small rear deck and the front porch is great for sitting and people watching.

Flagler Beach is a great base for Daytona Beach attractions without the noise and fuss -- Daytona International Speedway is 26 minutes away and Flagler has a great Bike Week scene. Orlando and the Disney and Universal theme parks are a 90 minute drive and St. Augustine with its quaint streets and premium outlets is 30 minutes.

For those unfamiliar with the area, Flagler Beach is a unique seaside community which is home to 6 miles of pristine beach and the iconic Flagler Beach Pier.

Every Friday and Saturday residents and visitors flock to The Flagler Beach Farmers Market to enjoy some of Florida's finest produce, baked goods, crafts and jewlery. First Fridays in the park offers outdoor music, children's activities, local vendors, chili cook offs and races. Shops and The Flagler Beach Museum stay open late as well.

Thousands of people gather for the 4th of July festivities with a small town parade, watermelon and hot dog eating contests, vendors and a spectacular fireworks show. Holiday at the Beach takes place the first week of December. The lighting of the tree in Veterans Park, parade and Santa parachuting onto the beach make for an enjoyable experience for all ages.

The beach offers your pets a place to play too. Leashed dogs are welcome on the beach North of 10th Street North and South of 10th Street South year round. Dogs are also welcome in Wadsworth Park and well as some local restaurants which allow dogs in outside seating area.

From surf fishing, beach combing, dolphin watching, sea turtle hatching, right whale watching, Intracoastal fishing, Surfing, shopping or just parking your chair in the sand there is something to do for everyone.
