Clean apartment with all the necessities

  • 4 of 5

I arrived early and was welcomed by my hosts and shown where to park. Friendly dogs too. Spent the first day touring Portland's neighbourhoods. This one being safe and filled with trees. There are a variety of restaurants near by. It is also a 10 minute, frequent service, #15 bus ride from downtown Portland. Highly recommend this suite and would stay here again.

Lovely spot in great neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We travel to Portland frequently, and this is by far our favorite place to stay. Art and Bettina are warm and welcoming hosts; happy to engage or give you space as you like. Their place is comfortable and easy to come and go to all this great city has to offer. And the neighborhood is the best; lots of walkable amenities. We'll be back!

The unit is well designed, clean, and in excellent condition. It is very cozy and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

The house is located in a nice residential area so I immediately felt at home. The unit entrance is located at the back of the house. It is quiet and it feels very private. Everything you need is within walking distance so it is also a very convenient location.

Bettina and Art are super nice and very welcoming. I will definitely stay here again the next time I travel to Portland.

Short Stay In Portland With Family - We Will Be Back!

  • 5 of 5

My wife, 6-yr old daughter and I stayed with Art and Bettina in their lovely renovated basement studio for 2 nights while on a 2-week road trip through Oregon. After two days camping it was a welcome relief to arrive at a quiet, clean and beautiful space. They were very welcoming to us and very engaging when we saw them. We were able to rest and get ourselves re-situated before heading back off into the wilderness for another round of camping. Laundry machines were provided there in the studio, which was a god-send since we had a weeks worth of clothes to clean before moving on. The bed was extremely comfortable and the fold down couch was perfect for our daughter to sleep on. The neighborhood felt safe and everyone in it seemed to be friendly with each other. It is a short walk to many restaurants and we took full advantage of that. Art and Bettina were kind enough to recommend local places. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for something other than the hotels/motels in town. Price wise and amenities wise, it can't be beat. My wife and I will be looking to take an adult only trip to Portland in the future and we will definitely be back to stay here.
