About Jacqui Warrender
Paul and I have been lucky enough to live in Devon for most of our lives. I have lived in Kennford for 9 years now - we live together now - just up the road! I most recently worked as a PA and Paul is our sound Accountant! We love being outdoors exploring the countryside, either on foot or on our bikes, and know that we have the very best on our doorstep. The Kenn Valley is stunning and we regularly enjoy a bike ride along the Exe Estuary trail or escaping to Dartmoor National Park for a walk and a picnic (just 20 minutes away). The city of Exeter has a lovely feel and there is of course lots to see and do. We also love to pop down to Topsham (the old Port). We hope you will feel free to enjoy the many walks and cycle rides we have left in the comprehensive welcome/visitor information pack so that you make the very best of your stay (we have done your homework for you!)

Why Jacqui Warrender chose Kenn
We do love the village. It has everything we need - with a great local shop, some great pubs and a village bar, but at the same time we are just a 10 miles from the coast and 15 miles from Dartmoor. We will never tire of this area, so we have decided to stay put and buy a holiday home so that you can get a taste of the good life!
What makes this Cottage unique
When we saw the cottage we fell in love with it as it is just so characterful, but immaculate. It has the most beautiful handmade staircase and we love the exposed beams. It is a perfect combination of old meets new - with the stylish shower room, inglenook fireplace and beautiful oak staircase.

Cherry Tree Cottage
Lovely homely cottage with lots of character. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners are near by and helpful if you need anything.
We stayed for a week 21-24 April. The cottage is well equipped with all you need we cooked our evening meal on the range cooker a couple of times. The wet room is just fantastic. No problem with parking. We would definitely book again if we came back to Exeter area. Thank you so much.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and found everything you needed. We look forward to welcoming you back some time. Thank you. Jacqui & Paul

We really appreciate it when guests recommend Cherry Tree Cottage. Thank you so much, Rhodri
A super little terraced cottage a short drive from the A38 making it a fab location for all there is to discover in Devon.
Cosy with all you need for a comfortable stay. Handy shop a few doors down. A peaceful nights sleep after busy days exploring.
It's great to hear you found everything to your liking. We are so pleased to be able to offer our guests a homely stay in our friendly village. I'm so glad you enjoyed your time in Devon.
Kennford is nestled in the beautiful Kenn Valley, just minutes from the A38, giving easy access to explore Historic Exeter, the old Port of Topsham and the surrounding area, including the Exe Estuary cycle/walking trail, Haldon Forest for mountain biking and walking, beaches such as Dawlish Warren, Shaldon and Exmouth and the Regency seaside towns of Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth. The stunning Dartmoor National Park is a 20 minute drive where you can enjoy walking, cycling, climbing or a stunning drive with a picnic. In Devon we are spoilt for choice with so many pretty villages and welcoming pubs, restaurants and cream tea spots. Our favourites include Topsham and Lympstone on the River Exe, Chagford, Shaldon and Dartmouth. Exeter offers plenty to do including free sightseeing tours, Exeter Quay where you can go canoeing or kayaking, visit the Cathedral and the medieval underground passages. National Trust properties to visit include A la Ronde at Exmouth, Killerton House & Gardens, Knightshayes at Tiverton, Castle Drogo and Greenway House on the River Dart (home to Agatha Christie).
