*You are 4 blocks from the bustling Bardstown Road/Baxter Avenue corridor, the center of the Highlands neighborhood, with so many wonderful restaurants, and, chic, cool, shopping.

*5 blocks from East Market Street, the fashionable NULU District, where you will find award winning restaurants, and trendy boutiques.

*3 blocks from downtown Louisville, KY where you will enjoy more fabulous restaurants, museums, world class theatre, at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, and Actor's Theatre of Louisville, and many others!

That being said, this house is extra special, because it is STOCKED TO THE MAX!

You will find anything and everything you might need from new toothbrushes and toothpaste, and complimentary shower gel/shampoo, to plenty of extras (toilet paper, paper towels, etc).

And, if you can't find it, just text or call me anytime, and I will deliver it. I live in a basement studio in this unit so I am close if you need assistance with anything during your stay.

Being an event planner, I am running this like a professional business, and plan to exceed your expectations!

Upon arrival, you will find the refrigerator stocked with complimentary water, gourmet coffee, and snacks.

I will also offer a listing of popular attractions and locations, and my personal favorite restaurants in Louisville. Being in the hospitality business for so many years, I can offer my Local 'foodie' opinions and choices.

You will find your new home professionally cleaned, with plenty of extra linens, and everything else you could possibly want or need to enjoy your visit.

When in town, I stay in a studio apartment in the basement of this home, I am close if you need anything. I am out of town for business most days, so it works out well.

Great property and host in good location

James was very welcoming. The house was just right for our family. Definitely a home away from home. Beds were very comfortable and anything needed was there. Close to downtown and highways. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Louisville.

This house is immaculate so I'm not sure where to begin. We were a party of 4-5 in town for Thunder and to visit family. The property was even better than the pictures. James the host is amazing, he suggested things to do and places to eat. He made us feel like family. The house was very clean and updated. The beds were so comfy I wanted to bring one home. Everything is well stocked we did not want for anything except for a few groceries. We will definitely be back for a longer visit.

Thank you James for everything. You have thought of everything that any guest could possibly need. We enjoyed meeting you and spending time with you.

Wonderful host & a lovely home

The home was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. James, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming. We accidentally overstayed (I'm am air head) and he was so sweet and accommodating about the extra day. It's a good location in an up and coming urban neighborhood. We walked to multiple restaurants during our stay and the stoneware factory store. Thank you for a wonderful stay, James!

Nice house with everything you need and great location

We were so happy with our recent stay at this property. The beds were really comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking, and the house was in a great location. The owner is exceptional at providing a great overall experience. We will definitely stay here anytime we are in Louisville.

Great Rental

This rental property could not have been better and James is a very attentive host. The property is fully equipped and was very clean. The Highlands neighborhood is very nice. Street parking was easy and ample. The property is in a quiet neighborhood (with the exception of the occasional train - but there's not much you can do about that) but only a 15-20 minute walk to Baxter Ave/Bardstown Rd where there are a number of great restaurants and bars. Louisville as a whole is a very fun city to visit and would recommend it to anyone. I would definitely stay here again, if given the opportunity.

What a cozy and beautiful decorated home!!!

This was our very first time visiting Louisville KY 3/16-3/19 and enjoyed ourselves!!! James, the home owner, was amazing to work with and answered all my questions. His house was presented as shown on VRBO listing and he personally greeted when we arrived. The house was beautifully decorated, well furnished and has all the amenities you need as you were at your own home. There are 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths in this home. The master and second bedrooms have a full-queen size bed and the third bedroom has a twin. The living room area has a full pull out sofa. All the beds were very comfortable and rooms were nicely decorated. There is a train that runs early in the morning and the views in the back area aren't so pretty which didn't bother us though. We feel safe in this house location and is easy access to Highlands restaurants and shops, Butchertown, Louisville downtown and Old Louisville Historic areas. The only recommendation we have is to fix the middle bedroom door as it didn't latch and if a DVD player is available so families can watch movies at night. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us James!
