Family house, built in 1600, with swimming pool and gardens, with outbuildings available. Kitchen service and daily cleaning when required. Located between Montedeiras and Montemuro mountains, above the Douro river.
Very charming old country house, with all the natural charms and implications of this fact.

Amazing property

This luxury farmhouse mansion estate was breathtaking with a super chilled vibe. It was built in 1600s but gas all the modern amenities!

Beautiful old house in big grounds with lovely pool

We enjoyed the pool and gardens very much. Making lots of lemonade, relaxing in the garden and swimming in the pool. We were lucky that Maria brought us vegetables from her garden. The house is very historic and interesting. Kitchen well-appointed. It was very hot in our stay so we were not able to go on many walks, although it was possible to walk into the valley and up onto the hill behind. The main road is busy to walk on and not very pleasant. JetSet does good coffee, drinks and ice creams and is a few minutes away. Our host was always available to answer questions. Great bakery, butchers and fish shop in Penha Longa and a small supermarket.

Excelente acolhimento, e uma optima refeição de boas vindas. Local calmo, e com boas vistas. Casa antiga mas bem conservada, cozinha bem equipada, quartos amplos, e sala de estar acolhedora. Exterior com vários ambientes, como um relvado à volta da piscina e almofadões, ou bosque com cama de rede. Foi possivel 3 gerações com gostos e actividades distintas, poderem usufruir de 15 agradáveis dias.

Superbe demeure alliant calme et confort,

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette location alliant calme, confort et originalité d'une demeure très spacieuse. Idéal pour passer un séjour à une ou plusieurs familles avec ses très nombreuses pièces au milieu d'un décorum de manoir . Piscine et jardin baignée de soleil toute la journée impeccable. Rien ne manque: barbecue, profusion d’ustensiles de cuisine,....Accueil très chaleureux de la propriétaire. Petites attentions de Maria (confitures maison : miam) qui gère l'intendance et habite à proximité.
