About Dan Moss
DAN MOSS has lived on the water for most of his life. Avid sportsman who loves being outdoors enjoying friendship and nature . Giving people the opprotunity to stay on the Legacy has been an enjoyable experience to meet people from all over the world.

Why Dan Moss chose Historic Old City
A Unique way to visit the wonderful City of Charleston, S.C. And be at THE CITY MARINA and be right in the middle of it all. The restaraunts , shopping, historic district are secound to none. And it's fun to stay on a motor YAUCHT.
What makes this Yacht unique
Wake up having coffee on the helm as porpoise glide by, the beautiful city just starting to wake up. In the evening having cocktails on board and watching the sun set on another marvelous day. Beats a hotel room!

Was great to be in the marina! Close to all with great food options and much to see. Spent a great deal of time back and forth to Citadel so it was very easy. Dan, the owner, was great... very available and helpful. Truly enjoyed the unique experience!
Thanks Rod, it was a pleasure meeting you and your son. Thank you again for leaving the Legacy in great shape. Dan
Such a nice setting and relaxing getaway
Very well maintained. Very comfortable. Host very helpful and easily accessible. Great location for all our events.
Perfect location. Lovely boat.
Walkable to town or you can use the free shuttle. Boat is plenty spacious for 4. Showers were very clean. Wonderful moon rises and sun rises. Marina was quiet.
Thanks Laura, enjoyed having your group aboard!
Fabulous Fall Stay
Beautifully restored '73 Hatteras Motor Yacht. Slip was convenient to marina entrance, private and in perfect position to catch gorgeous sunrises off the bow. Owner was most gracious...even had half and half in the fridge for the Keurig coffee. We used the marina's shuttle van several times over the weekend. Depending on your destination, you may want to allow extra time in case you're the driver's last stop. The Marina Variety Store and Restaurant, by the gas station, is great for breakfast and brunch. We enjoyed a casual dinner there, too. Also, there is a private club just outside the dock entrance. If you're a member of a yacht club, check reciprocity between your home club and the Charleston City Marina Club.
We hope to return on future visits.
Loved having Bart and Christiana and their family on board. these arev the guests host hope for. welcome anytime. Thanks. Dan Moss
Great accommodations and location
Enjoyed two nights on the Legacy. Accommodations worked well for our father/sons trip (4). Everything we needed was provided for and the owner (Dan) was very aconmodating and easy to get in touch with. The City Marina , where the boat is docked, offers help with travel into Charleston and other things needed to make the stay pleasant.
It was great to have you guys on board. Wonderful to see two fathers and their sons spending time together on the water.
had a great weekend aboard the Legacy - could not have been a better time - great location, and the owner, Dan, was a very gracious and responsive host. Highly recommend using this boat as a get away for anyone looking for a different way to enjoy Charleston - the sights and sounds experience cannot be beat - enjoying a cocktail on the deck while watching boat traffic cruise up and down the river is unique. the accommodations are very comfortable - the boat is immaculate, and very well preserved/redone
we will be back soon!!
