The condo was clean and accommodated our family of 9 perfectly. We loved the on site 24/7 security. We visited the beach bar (two buildings down) multiple times. It was a fun beach vibe and we had a family photo taken there. Ocean waves were so fun with our boogie boards, and water felt warm…it was 78 degrees. The elevators were quick and we rarely had to wait even though it was a busy holiday week. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Great location. We did a multigenerational family trip with ages ranging from 70's to an infant and this was the perfect place for us to stay. The view from the balcony alone was worth it, but the place was also super clean and well maintained.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. My mom even said it was her favorite one yet from all of our past trips. The space is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with four beds, three bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely balcony we enjoyed often. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras provided, such as a cooler, tennis rackets, and plenty of additional pillows and blankets. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.As other reviews have mentioned, the elevator can be heard throughout the day and night, which may be a concern for light sleepers. Additionally, one of the bathrooms has a barn-style door, which doesn’t offer complete privacy. Those were the only minor drawbacks in an otherwise excellent rental.Also, the location was great, we could walk to a bunch of stuff!

Despite being a major university’s spring break, out place was clean, quiet safe and convenient. Private secure parking was nice as we had kiteboarding equipment on our vehicle.

Great vacation at SPI

Great location, view, amenities, safe, and altogether a great stay here! First time travelling with our 9 month old and it was perfect, although she wasn't ready for the sand No doubt would come back again, thank you Diann and Roccy!

We had family that wintered in South Texas for many years before we decided to purchase our place on South Padre Island. During our visits we decided that we love the ocean. The sounds, the activities, and the South Padre beach in particular are what draw us to this area. We have spent many happy days on the island since we purchased the unit. We look forward to more winter relief once we both retire.

Why they chose this property

We love Ocean Vista because of it's location. Right on the ocean but you can also see the bay and the fireworks from the front. Sunrise in the morning and sunsets in the afternoon. It is within walking distance of anything you need: grocery store, bars, and restaurants and shopping. Well kept building and grounds in a great location with a beach to walk and play on right outside your door.

What makes this property unique

We have been able to enjoy time with family and friends while we enjoy the South Texas area. We especially enjoy long walks on the beach, watching our grandchildren play in the sand and spending time in the pool and the hot tub. Children and grandchildren grow up too fast so it is great to spend time with all of them. It is wonderful that they all enjoy their time here, too.

We also enjoy dolphin watching and fishing in the bay and the ocean. There are so many good restaurants where we can get fresh seafood whenever we want it.
