We have just arrived home after 6 weeks in Eimears lovely apartment with wonderful views from the balcony, and beautiful sunsets in the evening. This was our second visit, and we found some improvements since last time with new pots, pans and plates. It was very clean both inside and outside. For our own comfort at the beach we bought a beachchair that we hope will be appreciated by the next visitors. This time of the year it was very quiet and peaceful, and we hope we can come back another time. Thank you Eimear! Ann and Terje from Norway.

A nice stay

We spent 7 weeks in oct./nov. and had a wonderful stay in Eimears apartment. Eimear is a great host, helpful and easy to contact. This was our eighth visit to La Herradura so we know the area well. The apartment is very well eqiupped, but some of the breakfast and dinnerplates could be replaced, and also some of the frying pans. We bought a new one + a small coffemaker. We loved the balcony, having breakfast watching the fishermen, and dinners in front of beautiful sunsets. It was very nice to have a BBQ as well. We will absolutely return, thank you!

Fantastic view

It is a lovely apartment, with a fantastic location and a very unique view from the large terrace. The pictures you can see from the apartment live up to reality.

Excellent communication with Property Manager. The property has a wonderful view from the terrace and only a short walk down the hill to the sea front and restaurants. Would happily visit again

Maravillosas vistas

La localización es fantástica, con unas vistas impresionantes a unos 300 metros de la playa. El apartamento es muy amplio, con un gran salón dividido en dos ambientes, una gran cocina convenientemente equipada y con patio interior de buenas dimensiones. Las habitaciones son amplias (dobles) y cómodas, todas climatizadas con A/A, cada una con armario, suficiente para estancias largas y dotados con cómodas camas que permiten un correcto descanso. La terraza de grandes dimensiones e inmejorables vistas fue el lugar donde más disfrutamos. Como pequeños inconvenientes reseñar que algún utensilio de cocina debe ser renovado, aunque son perfectamente utilizables, así como algunos elementos decorativos, siendo un poco tiquismiquis.

Enjoyable stay but with problems

We have stayed in La Herradura many times but first time in this apartment. The apartment is very spacious, in a good location with fantastic sea views, close to the beach and town. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. However, during the four weeks we were there we had seven power failures in the apartment. Eimear was quick to respond but we had to have 2 visits from electricians and a visit from a plumber to fix both sinks in the en- suite bathroom. After the problems we were very nervous of all the electrics in the apartment, which clearly need updating. Overall, there were a number of other aspects of the apartment that also needed either updating or better maintenance. Overall we enjoyed our stay in La Herradura but found the apartment quite disapointing.

Terrasse mit Meerblick

Wir haben die grosse Terrasse mit Meerblick und Sonnenuntergang sehr genossen. Mit einem Grill wäre sie perfekt. Hervorragende ruhige Lage. Schöner Wohnbereich, Schlafzimmer etwas düster. Bei näherem Hinschauen liess die Sauberkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig, Backofen, Kühlschrank.

Frost impressions nice

The electric kept blowing the plugs were not safe .. the boiler kept cutting out so was hard to shower... had to book into a hotel as couldn't be bothered with sitting in the dark ..

Comfortable spacious apartment

The apartment offers plenty of space and is well equipped. The terrace is super with great views, although , due to the unusual inclement weather for our whole week, we were unable to take advantage of it. The position is great with a short 10 minute walk into the village which is very friendly and offers a good variety of shops and eating places.
