Fairytale cottage by the river

A beautiful immaculately presented cottage right by the river, Sylvia and Frederic are great hosts who take pride in the cottage, we had salad from the garden as well as lots and lots of fresh herbs, great as we love to cook. Frederic spent lots of time sorting out an internet problem and provided an extra sun umbrella for the small table - all much appreciated! We enjoyed exploring the area, going to local markets, a day in Auxerre with lunch by the river, and revisiting Guedelon castle. A very enjoyable week.

Sylvie et Fred sont adorables, présents et discrets à la fois et a l'écoute de toute demande. La petite maison est propre et joliment décorée, très bonne literie, cuisine bien équipée. Le jardin est très agréable, mes petits enfants ont adoré le bac a sable et les balançoires. Le ponton au dessus de la rivière est enchanteur. Merci pour ce joli mois de vacances.

Un très bon séjour

Nous avons passé, ma femme et moi, un très bon séjour : avec le logement bien décoré, une cuisine bien équipée, le feu de cheminée, la rivière à coté. Un grand merci à Sylvie pour son accueil chaleureux et ses conseils pertinents.

Charmant huisje naast de rivier

We hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad. Het vakantiehuis ligt op het domein van de eigenaar maar ze respecteren je privacy. De vakantiewoning ligt naast een drukke weg maar deze stoorde ons niet. We hebben genoten van de vele dieren die we tijdens onze wandelingen hebben tegen gekomen: beverrat, ijsvogel, herten. Vos enz. Het vakantiehuis is zeker aan te raden : vriendelijke eigenaars die alsook Engels kunnen, voldoende keukenbenodigdheden, rustige omgeving, ruime kamers enz.

Maison et jardin magnifiques

On a passé 2 semaines formidables dans cette belle maison. La maison est tres bien équipée, il y a de jeux pour les enfants non seulememt dans le jardin pittoresque mais aussi au 1er étage de la maison. La petite riviere Ouanne invite a se baigner ou a pecher. Les propriétaires sont tres sympa et accueillants. A recommander!

Sehr schöne Urlaubstage

Zuvorkommende Gastgeber, die uns sehr freundlich empfangen haben. Das Haus und das Grundstück, sehr schön direkt an der Ouanne gelegen, boten uns viel Platz für 4 Personen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles in allem war dies ein gelungener Urlaub, in einer für uns bisher unbekannten Regionen, die noch nicht vom Tourismus überlaufen ist. Empfehlenswerte Ausflüge nach Paris (mit der Bahn), Auxerre, Sens und Orleans.

Maison parfaite pour des vacances en famille

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances : la maison et le jardin sont très bien aménagés avec beaucoup d’espace et de jeux pour les enfants (terrain entièrement clôturé, balançoire, cabane…). Nous avons appréciés le prêt des vélos pour de belles balades aux alentours. Nos hôtes sont accueillants et à l’écoute. Nous recommandons vivement !

Beautiful little house right out of a fairy tale

The house is small but very comfortable and decorative. The owners are very nice and speak enough english to tell you everything important about the house. They also show you everything you could possibly need, wich isn’t usual but very helpful. They also HAVE everything you could possibly need which makes it feel like you are at home. We personally did like the calming atmosphere by the river next to the house (There were no mosquitos, wich is great for people with allergies). The neighbours are really nice too. There are also a lot of beautiful villages and cities nearby, so you always have a place to visit. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Small note: the stairs are pretty steep, so be careful.

Toll gelegenes Landhaus in der Nähe der Loire

Wir haben unsere " Übernachtungen in dem Landaus sehr genossen. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und insbesondere für Familien sehr geeignet. Der Kontakt (die Kommunikation) mit der sehr netten Vermieterin und die Schlüsselübergabe verliefen perfekt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Belle maison de vacances

Propriété belle et bien située. Dotée d un beau jardin aménagé et salon et coin repas à l extérieur. Résidence bien équipée avec des jeux et vélos pour le loisir. Très bon accueil des propriétaires.

Sfeervol huisje met heerlijke tuin

Het huisje is erg sfeervol en heeft een grote tuin met veel plek om te zitten en te spelen, ook direct aan de rivier. Rivier ook erg geschikt voor kinderen om in te spelen. Veel dieren gezien zoals bevers en een ijsvogel. Bij de buren kun je een pottenbakkersworkshop volgen voor volwassenen of kinderen. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Enige minpuntjes zijn de weg die je hoort in de tuin en de directe omgeving is niet zo fantastisch. Er zijn wel leuke plaatsjes in de buurt maar die zijn een eindje rijden. We hebben heel fijne dagen gehad met veel rust en ruimte.
